I like playing my old games. I play Pokemon and Sonic all the time. Sometimes, I'll even pull out my old PlayStation and play my Digimon games!

I never feel childish playing those old games. I even want to get the Donkey Kong for the virtual console.

Like I said, most of the people I know who are into the old games or series are people my age. We grew up with these games, it's only natural to enjoy them. There's really nothing childish about it.

Edit:
This girl never really liked Mario. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalatounge.gif)

Oh no, not too old for video games. I play games more now than I ever did before. Some games, like the Digimon games and stuff, are a cinch now though I didn't get them when I was younger, and others, like some games I used to breeze through when I was 3-4 years old, I suck at majorly when I try them now, and I have no idea how I used to be able to do it.

Sometimes I feel like an ancient dinosaur, like I don't realize how quickly the years have passed. If I dwell on things like age too much, though, I start to freak myself out and get stuck in some existential quandary.

I think the only game I can't play like I used to was the original Mario Kart, but then again I only tried it briefly a little while ago and had a hard time turning, whereas I probably had lots of practice as a kid. Everything else, I used to take forever to beat and die all the time, now I play through all my old games and plow through them. I suppose that just might be because I remember all the little secrets and strategies though.

I never feel like I'm getting older, like at all. It's like I haven't aged in years or something. I have dreams where I'm still in high school regularly, sometimes middle school.

Sometimes I feel like I'm getting too old for Harvest Moon specifically.
My first HM game was 64, and I've been playing ever since.

My dad is a good sport about it, since he plays video games too, but when it comes to HM hes like "another one?".

It does cross my mind occasionally, but whatever. I'm still devouring Animal Parade right now. :D

But not video games in general.

"Age is just a number." That's what I like to say. Your age doesn't really mean much when it comes to personal entertainment choices.

The only time I feel old is when I mention that I still have, and occasionally play, games on my Super Nintendo. (Well, Super Mario RPG is about the only SNES game I play from start to finish anymore.) Other people are like: "Whoah!! You still have one of those!? That's, like, an antique!" **slaps forehead** I remember when that thing came out. My dad waited for like a year to buy us one, but... It was top of the line when we got it.

My dad got an Atari when he was a teenager, and he would still get it out and play it from time to time. (Until he died. I don't think it's left its box since Dad died, as he was the only one who really used it...)

My brothers do make fun of me for still playing Mario games. They started out with Mario, but one "graduated" to American football games and the other to various Star Wars games and MMORPGs. I just...stick with what I like.
