I just saw this movie and boy, was I impressed. The Princess and the Frog is definitely a great movie :) I truly recommend it to anyone who hasn't yet seen it.
But with that said, has anyone actually seen it? |

I was planning on seeing it with my sister, but she ended up going to it for a birthday party. I'm just curious about it because the previews and plot confuse me, and my sister was unable to explain it to me at all without getting angry at me. I don't understand how it goes from a girl opening a restaurant, to all of a sudden a castle with a princess and what not.

I want to see this quite badly, but I don't want to go alone and everyone in my family says, "It's a Disney movie. Aren't you too old for that kind of stuff?"
>.> Stupid family. I'm hoping that I can get a hold of my friend to drag her to it... I don't want to miss out. -_-; |

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) Yeah, everyone associates Disney as being only for kids.
But I do want to see it, just because it looks like an instant classic, but I'll end up waiting until it comes out on DVD or something. |

All I know about this is that the princess is black.
As with all films, it'll be a while before they even start to advertise it in the UK, but when it does come out I might investigate. |

ZBoy, I'd happily explain to you how the story goes from opening a restaurant to princesses and castles. It all makes sense really; but, the thing to consider is that each of the main characters has their own backgrounds.
I don't understand why people are against Disney movies or see them as childish. Most of my friends watch Disney and Pixar movies. The movies are also intended for an older audience as well, but they tend to focus more on the kids as their key demographic. Disney can make some great movies. The movie is set in New Orleans. There's a lot of music in this movie. I don't mean the occasional three or four songs in a typical movie. Rather, there's close to an album's worth of vocal songs. The villain's theme is definitely a treat. I might just have to buy the album at some point. And yeah, I think this movie will become a classic. I'd definitely buy it. |
