Actually, weather conditions affect products differently. For example, if you try to ground a chili pepper in the windmill in heavy wind, it goes down in quality, but when you grind rock salt, it turns into Perfect Salt.
In fact, the only way to get Shining Salt is to grind salt in the waterwheel next to your house (you can't grind salt in the Flute Fields windmill) during a typhoon. But don't even think about trying that with corn. They're all different. |

Is there a way to tell if I can get an ore refined? It's very annoying spending half my time and stamina in the mines getting as much iron as I can to upgrade my tools only to have 1 or the iron ores actually be useful. So can I tell if it will be good to refine, or do I just have to take my chances?

You always have to take your chances. I suggest collecting large amounts before going, improving your chances. Refining to upgrade your tools is a major pain, and will probably get harder as you want to increase the levels.

okay, thanks for the help :)
I think in ToT it would shine a little, and if it didn't it meant it would just be scrap, if that was so I wish AP had it :( |

You can also try saving your game before going to refine your stuff, and restart until you get a good amount of stuff you like.

someone should help me, I can;t figure out on which level is the best place to find gold ore?
On ToT the rarity of wonderfuls and ores depended on how many sparkles were on it 1, 2, 3, or 4 |

There isn't a "best place" to find gold ore. Your best odds would maybe be going lower than level ten before you start mining though. It's pretty much just luck.

Has anyone had a child yet? I want to see if you can still have children that look like your spouse, cause there wasn't any pics in the guide of children that look like your spouse.

You can only have children that look like your spouse. With the colors of the hair and eyes, anyway.
>> I don't trust that guide. It's screwed up multiple times (Luke and Phoebe, sittin' in a tree~). If you're looking for gold ore for the Red Bell, it's completely random; just smash everything. After, for tool upgrading, forget about Garmoni Lower; Garmoni Upper has more gold, and Water Cave has more gold than that. |

The others give you Material Stone. |

Is the ring actually visible on your character? Besides during the wedding scene(s)?
Also, does the P2 "Rub" Wiimote thing really help to increase heart levels? Or is it barely noticeable? And.. does anyone know how many points you get per loved/liked gift, as well as the points for the "rubbing"? For example, 5 friendship points for talking to them, 2 for neutral gift, etc. Thanks again! This post has been edited by Sasuke: Nov 24 2009, 01:22 PM |
