Thracia was great and all. I never really beat the English patch, though.
Wanna know what FE game is the best? FE6: Fuuin No Tsurugi (Or something like that.) Have you played through Monshou No Nazo? |

Darth: I'll have to look up info on the best pairings next time I try to play it through. I did that some the first time, but ended up becoming more focused on just keeping people alive instead of pairing them up. xx; And Adan's creepy. He doesn't seem to have much personality, either. He was the first one I killed off (somehow; I don't know how I managed to kill my armoured guy first) and he was the only one whom I didn't miss.
I found Gatrie in PoR/RD to be equally creepy, though for different reasons... "mancer," eh... Never thought about that before. Romancer, I guess? Not that I'm into that kind of stuff... Somehow "mancer" reminds me of "mincer," so it also makes me think of slicing things into tiny bits. Don't ask. Lenyo: Yup! I purchased Monshou no Nazo for the Wii's Virtual Console. (I also got Seisen no Keifu that way and will eventually get Thracia 776 when I'm ready.) I wonder if they'll ever make English versions of those for the NA shopping network, hmm... I've never played any of the GBA ones... XP I may get them someday. If I can find them used. And I prefer to play Japanese-version games for some reason. When playing FE, I like to mark down some of the bad things that happen just so that I can look back and laugh at it later. I should do that for Seisen. I did some pretty stupid stuff the first time I tried to play it... |

Maybe I should've been a little more clear. Prefixes of "Mancer" like Pyromancer, Neuromancer, or the ever popular Necromancer. Try again?
and for Adan I always just left him to defend base and base never got attacked. Worked out pretty well. Since I didn't mention him though, I guess I'll clarify that by Aideen I meant the blonde priestess. Fan translation might be wonky. |

Will you be playing a Pokemon game soon? |

Darth: THAT kind of mancer. I'm assuming the Internet-type and not the real thing? (I don't go for magic.)
Well, I'd have to say the necromancer, because they're always good for a laugh (even though they can be annoying). In fact, I've accidentally done necromancy before. Ehehe. Tch, I knew of a website that gave really good explanations of all those, but I can't find it. I saw that Adan wasn't on your list and wondered if you thought the same thing I did about him.'Tis a shame Aideen's name is so similar. Oscar: Considering that I don't have a system to play them on anymore (got rid of my GBC and my GBA a long time ago), probably not. |

Fuuin No Tsurugi IS only in Japanese for the GBA... I actually bought it for 60 bucks online and didn't understand it, and STILL thought it was amazing. I only played it patched into English over the summer.
Edit: Haha, I forgot to ask a question. Did you find the canon shipping of Boyd (Green haired guy in Greil's Mercenaries) and Mist (Ike's sister) to be completely random and horrifying? PoR led me to believe Mist and Rolf (The young bow and arrow dude.) would get together... (I said who they were since Japanese people may have translated some of the minor character names differently.) |

Lenyo: Most of the PoR/RD characters have the same or similar names in both English and Japanese, but...
Boyd = Boyle; Rolf = Yofa (that one's a little weird) Mist is the same in both languages, though. Yes, I didn't care much for the Boyd/Mist pairing. Rolf/Mist would have made a lot more sense (although Rolf is younger than Mist, and they probably would have had to wait a little while to marry). --; I wish you could have paired up any guy and girl, like in Seisen. That would have been very cool. I also wondered why Ike couldn't be paired with anyone... xx; I found that to be disappointing. Naesala/Leanne was my favourite coupling from those games. |

Thanks to our new(ish?) member Mars, I feel I should ask. Is Mars an acceptable translation of Marth?
And just to ask something not related to Fire Emblem for once on the page; how good is the 22nd of Spring for getting a pet in EAM? |

That would have been very cool. I just wish that the conversations weren't just: Boyd: Hey Mist! Mist: Be careful Boyd! Boyd: Stay behind me! As opposed to something like Eliwood and Ninian's conversations that were so well thought out and almost like reading a good book, in FE7: Blazing Sword. I also wondered why Ike couldn't be paired with anyone... xx; I found that to be disappointing. Not true! He could be paired with Soren (waffleing amazing Sage person) or Ranulf! (The blue tiger cat person.) But in all seriousness, I thought he'd end up with Elincia (Queen of Crimea) after PoR. Naesala/Leanne was my favourite coupling from those games. I especially like their ending, it sort of lets you know that the Heron race is going to be brought back. And for a question... So did you beat both books of Monshou No Nazo? I personally played FE1: Ankoku Ryu to Hikari no Tsurugi, and then played book 2 of Monshou No Nazo. Edit: I also wish to know the answer to Darth's question. |

Darth: Yeah, "Mars" is acceptable, but I think his name was supposed to be Romanized as "Marth" all along. Since the Japanese language has no "th" sound, the whole name transliteration thing can be really, really complicated and annoying.
**still agonizing over how to Romanize some of the RF3 characters'/dungeons' names** Spring 22 is VERY good timing! You ought to be very proud of yourself! It always takes me until at least mid-summer to get a pet. Lenyo: Let me clarify myself. I was disappointed that you couldn't pair Ike with a girl. XD Though, honestly, I thought Soren was a girl when I first started playing PoR. >.> He looks rather feminine. I thought Ike would end up with Elincia, too. But... Elincia didn't seem to care for him much in RD. She...didn't really seem to be romantically interested in anyone, did she? I know you can pair her up with Geoffrey, but still... Tibarn seemed to have a more-than-friendly interest in her, too. Yup, I've played through both books of it! ^^ In fact, I think I've been through book 2 (Monshou no Nazo) twice. I really like that one. |

It disappointed me when the DS port of Ankoku didn't have book 2... Since I feel like asking another FE question: What's your favorite class? |

Yeah, I figured you were joking. I was clarifying.
**thinks back to all the Japanese fan sites she's seen that had Ike/Soren or Ike/some-other-guy pairings** You can never be too sure. XD Now if only they could have paired up Reyson with some nice hawk or raven girl... I hope they make a DS port of Monshou no Nazo (book 2)... The first book of the SNES game was just a slightly redone version of the original NES game... So, altogether, Ankoku no Ryuu has been released/re-released 3 times. --; I like the Paladins. (Or Gold/Silver knights in RD.) I like their added movement and the fact that they (usually) have more defence than those on foot. I also like the fact that (in some of the games) they can use more than one type of weapon. That's very useful. |

Of course Marie likes the beach. ^^ Seashells are pwetty. So are waves. Marie loved to build sandcastles when she was a kid.
Sadly, I haven't been to the ocean in a few years. =( |

This isn't exactly the best time of year to go to the beach in the U.S.... Unless you go to south Florida. Or South Padre Island. Or somewhere in southern California.
Mmm, I guess there are a few good places to go at this time of year. ^^ Darn winter. It's coming too quickly. GO AWAY. >.> |

I saw seven fully-grown people cram into a five-seater car earlier today. It was hilarious to watch.
I'll bet you could fit more than seven in that car. |
