Well, you have a bell more than I do at around the same day and a bit more money. I've only got 7 lettuces and the rest are just waiting to be grown. Have you upgraded your tools or anything? That's probably where most of my money's gone.

Now if I were trying to get as much money as possible in the Summer season, which crop should I grow? I have rung the yellow bell, but have not upgraded Marimba Farm and further. Also, tomatoes seem a little too expensive, so any of the other crops: Onion, Watermelon, etc. Thank you! Tea Leaves are awesome to grow! they only take 3 days to grow and they sell for a good amount (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalasmile.gif) I made hero ranking in summer thanks to tea leaves and the cherry trees, too bad I wasn't at the point in the storyline where I need hero ranking though (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) EDIT: Nevermind, just saw your post in the other topic (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) |

Yeah, what stinks is I ended up planting 40 tea leaves, and then I go to talk to Luke who goes "I'm scared for the tsunami tomorrow!"
-_- The next day 14 of my leaves were gone and 2 of my tomatoes were gone. I was happy that I didn't end up buying a lot more leaves like I had pplabbed. |

There always seem to be 2 typhoons in early summer...
I decided after my first year that I would wait to plant summer crops until BOTH typhoons had passed. --; Unfortunately, one year, the second typhoon didn't occur until the 14th of Summer... **twitch** But usually they both occur before the 10th... |

Hm,I suppose it is just luck finding the gold ore. But I found it on the 9th floor along with my silver and copper. I found my iron on the 7th floor.
Can I use the big field next to my little one? |

Well, I keep going down to the eight and ninth floors then clearing them out completely. I've been doing this for nearly a week now. Gold just does not want to be found. I just really want that ore already =\ I feel like the game won't move forward until I get it.
EDIT: Yay! I finally found Gold on the sixth floor after going to the mine twice in one day. Red bell tomorrow~ |

I really have to bust my butt growing crops this Summer season if I want to be able to grow corn and complete the green bell. I am going to be SO dissapointed if I'm not able to and half to end up waitng a whole year to do so. >_<

Yay. I did the math to calculate how to optimize my mining trips. I'll post my findings somewhere :3

I'm with ya on that one. D: I just wasted all my money on a bunch of crops that (hopefully) won't die before summer starts; cause I hear that you have to get the place they sell corn at to level two or something before they actually START selling the seeds. :c
Random Note: I love the fact that you get to ride on your cows once they get enough hearts. Cx *randomrandom~* |

Well, that's good. v.v At least you've started early!
I'm just getting into Summer. I'm on my last day in Spring right now... And I think I've sent a pretty good bit already, but I dunno. :c I hope you make it in time! @~@ It would be SUCH a pain to have to wait another whole year for summer to come 'round... (in game~) |

Oh yeah, does anyone remember how many cherry trees you start out with? I thought I had six, but after my first typhoon, I think I lost one. >.<

I think you start out with five... Because, unless one of mine died already, I have five.
And I haven't been hit by a typhoon yet, so... I'm thinking you start out with five. |

If you've rung the Blue bell, go with Hibiscuses instead of Tea Leaves. Same growing time, but their profit is predictable and higher on average than Tea Leaves.
The seeds are also 10G cheaper, which provides a margin big enough to pay for the boat ticket over if you buy at least 40 bags while you're there. (Flowers also do count toward your crop total, for anyone who's unclear and afraid to ask because it's sort of a stupid question. >< It took me too long to figure that one out.) I had a typhoon, then a day of rest, then another typhoon in my first summer. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) I ended up losing a little money because of it, but the way my crops were scheduled I had Hibiscuses to harvest every day. It was actually kinda neat. Like staggered crops, except a whole lot more of a visual mess. No, you start out with five cherry trees. Typhoons don't hurt trees, I'm fairly certain. Either that, or I'm just extremely lucky. |

I'm on Winter 15 and lack only the purple bell.
I have Candace at 5 hearts and a few at 2 or so, so Edge's bell will take a while. |

How often have you played Tyler? I've played about two hours a night since getting it this Tuesday, and about a week this afternoon. I plan to play some more though. And yeah, I'm only Spring 13 :[
