Read up on Wikipedia about the game, really interesting animals- seems a bit crazy. Silkworms ay? I wonder how they work does TOT have them as well? Otherwise I might just wait for this.

Actually, you can get four bells in one season. You just have to be extremely dedicated to selling crops and sell 80,000G worth in the first season. I didn't manage to do that the first time around, but I did it in the New Game+. Managed to beat the game by Summer 5 (Stupid purple bell...). >> I just wanted to see how quickly I could do it.
The days are awfully long, aren't they? With Junior Year being... well, Junior Year, I moved through the game ever so slowly in real time. ToT has Silkworms! They work like chickens... they even eat the same food. I had eight in ToT, then I sold them all because taking care of them took WAY too long in real time. |

Am I the only one who caught the very subtle Where The Wild Things Are pun in the instruction manual? I wouldn't know, I don't have the game. *sniff* In the last page someone (forgot who) said not the touch the yellow gas, but in ToT the yellow gas was good, so I'm guessing the gas color/affects are different now. If thats true I'm going to have some problems mining because I'm hard wired to run into green or yellow gas. -____-' |

The colors are mostly the same, except that yellow is bad and blue is good.
You still want to run like heck from the purple gas that keeps nailing me. -_-; |

My, is that lag ever annoying. The game feels very choppy. Also the screen flickers whenever the game loads?

You know, I'm not really getting any lag. =/
I don't know if the screen so much flickers when it loads or if that's just the loading animation. You are talking about that seizure inducing white dot, right? |

That would be the one. It looks like it flickers to me, particularly around the edges.
Also, the lag does seem to become less apparent. There are just some cases where the games feel choppy. |

I've noticed the slight lag, mostly in the cutscenes. But doesn't bother me much, though. It hasn't really lagged during gameplay for me.
As for that dot . . . I try not to look at it. It gives me a headache. -_- |

I'm pretty sure it's twenty real seconds to ten game minutes. Making the game half the speed of ToT.

I think I've also noticed that time seems to pick up speed if you stand in place. Could just be me. Anyone else see this?

Wikipedia says "About three minutes in Real Life = 1 Hour in the Game"

That would be about three seconds to one minute. Making the game three times slower as ToT. Yeesh!

I realised the first few days were very boring, but once more people move in, and you have more work on your farm to do, it gets better. I just completed the yellow bell so that comes to three now! I'm at 2 hearts with Candace, one with Hamilton, and one with Simon, and 2 hearts with the Collie. I rub everyone I pass and talk to. I realised my first circus was a bust seeing that I have yet to even get an oven to cook some recipes for the animals....

You know if they were going to make the time so rediculously slow then the least they could have did would make time not stop all the time for stupid stuff. I mean why for the love of god does time stop when you use a tool? That doesn't make sense at all. It stops when you enter a any type of menu. It stops when you go inside. It stops when you talk to people. It stops from screen to screen. When you look at all those time stops the only time that time actually passes is when your running from place to place. Many times I find myself just standing around so time can pass for something.
Its really annoying. I find myself going to sleep by about 6 everyday because I'm literally done with everything. They definitely should have did something about that. |

I realised and do the same exact things that you just said in your above statement Grizzly. Time stops way to much. I sometimes start feeling like I'm doing something wrong because I go to bed way to early, but there really isn't anything... :/

I'm actually one of the few people whose character doesn't go to bed at 6. ;]
But then again. I make her stay up till about 11 doing every possible thing she can to gain money. Except for till my entire fields. I was working on that. Annnd that's how, before my game stopped working, I had somewhere around 25,000 G. >.> |
