The same occured for me. I did watch the tour for each town, but I had still gotten lost in ToT. I probably got lost in ToT because there are so many paths in every area. In AP, there is baswicly one path to each surrounding area from your farm.

oh.. my least favorite thing is the load screens. Not that they take too long, but it's just a blinking circle in the corner..

Can someone take a picture/video of the blinking circle? I don't remember there being anything like that in the Japanese version (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaeyes.gif) The screen would just go black and show the location name, then fade back in.

The frame rate in the Japanese version would be slightly choppy on the largest maps, but I don't really consider that really laggy. I'd greatly prefer giving up super smooth animations to moving at a snail's pace when you're supposed to be running. Is it really that much worse in the English version, or are people just overreacting?

I haven't really noticed any lagging, except sometimes she slows down a tiiny bit when running for about a split second around my farm area...

The lag isn't that bad. It's only even noticeable in the cut scenes for me.
And why is the clock still in military time? Is there any way to change that?

The clock is in "military" time because that tends to be the standard clock used in Japan, and I guess Natsume didn't want to change it because it would be too much of a hassle.

I never really liked military time...
their names probably got changed (which and wizard) I'm wondering about the Harvest God.. :l someone will find out their english names soon enough

I just got the game today, and I can gladly say people are overreacting. Honestly, unless someone pointed it out to me that there was lag, I wouldn't have noticed it and thought that was just the way the game ran...

Anyway... yeah, that definitely *wasn't* in the Japanese version. I wish they put something prettier in there than a spastic dot.

but that's kinda a bummer.... aren't you supposed to only find out their name when they decide to tell you it?

And I agree that the lag issues are not worth making a fuss over. It's barely noticeable, and doesn't take away from the game in the least bit. But since we are all most likely going to compare the game to the Japanese version right out of the box, that's one of the first noticeable things.

And what main are/do you guys use? Yuuki, Takeru, Hikari or Akari? I'm sorry, I can't call them by their English names. It's just strange to me. D: (Kasey, Kevin, Molly and Angela, yeesh...) Which one do you think looks better in the game btw? Akari or Hikari?

I'm using Akari, and I think she and Hikari look about the same, (as in looking better in the game or whatever) I just like Akari better.
I like Takeru and Yuuki equally, and wouldn't know who to be if I start a boy file... maybe Takeru, cause he seems to get less love


and Marley... as in guide, if you mean the strategy guide and not the little booklet that comes with the game, than forget what I said... I don't have it to flip through and not read (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)
But how are the special candidates names romanized?
