Charmy, it's one of the few well written vampire manga out there. Its got a lot of blood and violence, but the lore is decent and the characters are easy to like. I'd honestly recommend reading the manga versus watching the anime, but if you can't find it, watch Hellsing Ultimate. It's an OVA series they released as the final volumes were coming out, so it follows the story much more accurately than the initial 13 episode anime. I don't know how much gore/general scariness you can take, but Hellsing shouldn't be too hard for you.

I've never seen the dub, so I can't verify that. The Japanese version of Hellsing Ultimate (with subs) was good, though.

Well, I can handle illustrated violence much more than animated. I'll be looking for the manga at AnimeEDEN sometime soon~ And if I am liking the manga I'll give the anime a try. But if it gets a little too.... Yeah, I'll be disturbed for a few days.
