Do you have one? If you do, what is it of? If not, what's your opinion on them?
I think they are okay but I myself would never get one. Just the thought about never ever being able to get something off of my skin..*shudders*. Plus when you get all old and wrinkley you still have it and it looks weird D: |

My best friend has one, and it's actually pretty cool. A pair of nicely designed mechanical wings on her shoulders. She says she can't wait until she gets old and it's all saggy (though shoulders don't sag as much as arms). (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)
I kind of muse about the idea of having a tattoo now and then (who hasn't?), but I wouldn't seriously want one. It would be like putting makeup on and never being able to take it off... it's too permanent and I like to change things up too often to deal with that. If I did get a tattoo, it would have to be something cool like Ronald McDonald riding a dolphin during a sweet summer sunset. On my butt. |

QUOTE ("Nurse Fin") ]If I did get a tattoo, it would have to be something cool like Ronald McDonald riding a dolphin during a sweet summer sunset. On my butt. I lolled (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) There is one tattoo I've been kind of maybe thinking about getting, but I would never actually have the balls to go through with it. This is what it looks like: (IMG:http://ancientegypt.hypermart.net/lostsecrets/ausar.gif) It's the Egyptian hieroglyph for the God Osiris, who's my favorite deity, the subject of my favorite myth, and the basis for my novel. I feel randomly very connected to him :) But as far as tattooing goes I'm afraid of the permanence. People change, and with that comes their tastes. I could never be sure what I think is 'COOL' now will be as amusing or interesting when I'm 40 hehe ....and on a related note ;D |

Nah I've never wanted one even when I was younger, it's a little too permanent for my liking and I always worry about not liking it later. One of my friends got a tattoo of a ram skull recently and it's pretty cool, oh and is it just me or does everybody seem to want Angel Wings on their back? Everyone I know who talks about getting tattoos seems to want that

Ehh I don't care for them. Like Nurse Fin said, you really can't get rid of them. So anyway, there was this one girl in Theater with me who said that she is so sick of putting eye liner on everyday, that when she gets older she's gonna get eye liner tatooed on so she'll never have to put it on again. Talk about Painful!!!

I don't have one yet, but I think they can be good or bad.
I mean I don't like people that have their WHOLE body tatted up... Well my best friend just got tatted up like 2 months ago and he is only 13.... I thought you had to be like 18? But no he still got one! |

My dad's friend just got this really awesome tattoo on his arm and it's REALLY cool. It's times like that when I see an awesome tattoo that I muse the idea of ever getting one. It's like a grizzley bear is inside his arm and there are claw marks so you can see the bear inside his arm and the bear is clawing his way out from inside his bicep, It's pretty detailed.

Ewww, tattoos suck. Unless they're, like, DRAGONS wrapped around your ARMS. That would be AWESOME.

Unfortunately, I have a very low tolerance for pain... I couldn't go through with it without screaming and forcing them to stop. That said, if there wasn't any pain involved, I'd probably want one somewhere I could cover up with regular clothing. As for what it would be... maybe something Japanese...

A good family friend of mine used to be a tattoo artist. It traumatized her. She couldn't stand the fact that to complete her art she had to wipe away blood. So she got a few free tattoos out of it and left. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)

A friend of my friend has two tattoos going down his back that say "Aequitas" and "Veritas". Her dad was super high one morning and saw his tats and said "Why does your back say Taquitos?" (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)

I think some tattoos look cool. I like the artsy ones.
Today I saw a guy in my school who had a dark mark tattoo. I'm not gonna lie, it looked really cool. I don't think I'd get one though. I can't handle that type of commitment. o_O |

Tattoos do look cool. Until you get old and wrinkly, then they look weird. 0_o
I wouldn't get a tattoo for that very reason. My grandpa has a navy tattoo, though. |

I don't like, they're permanet so you have to think very well to decide to have it or not
Plus when you get old that'll look strange, and it's not good, many people are racist about it, you might not get a job becouse of them Plus if it's something written and the stupid tatooer ((IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) ) spells it wrong... It depends on the person too, it's nice if the person is the type who cares about beauty and doesn't wear anything where there's the tatoo... |

Eh...tatoos just aren't for me. It may be a bias from regional culture, I don't know. I don't want one, I don't need one, and the removal process is painful from what I hear.
