It doesn't look like any retailer had them yesterday, Gamestop, Amazon, etc... nothing. Although today is a national holiday, most companies DON'T use the USPS to ship to stores. Games might not be shipped to the CONSUMER if they're sent by USPS, but hopefully the games are on their way to actual stores/warehouses today.
This is the type of thing that looks like it's something to do with Natsume's distribution. It's a shame they basically have a monopoly for this game/genre so there's no competition and they can take forever to localize a game and distribute it. :/ People still buy because they enjoy the games, but ... bleh. |

Any other game company that did something like this would have a lot of crap to deal with. Imagine if Infinity Ward/Activision decided not to ship Modern Warfare 2 yesterday. :P People would be rabid and crazy and they'd have to do so much damage control.
Natsume gets away with it because they're the only company who has the Harvest Moon games and it's too specific of a niche for other companies to care, I think. :( Maybe someday Xseed will grab the rest of it, like they did with RFF. I think they did a pretty good job. :v |
