Doesn't matter, because Tuesday is only the ship date.

I'd say I'm pretty excited for this game. Seeing as how I'm thinking that this will be 1 of the last two games I plan on buying this year. The other game being Dragon Age. I also feel that this game can rekindle my love of Harvest Moon. Lets see if its true.

And if you live on the Eastern Coast, you indefinitely won't get it on Tuesday.

Really? How so? I would think you get a bit earlier than us West Coasters.

'Cause I live on the eastern coast and through a bunch of Harvest Moon games I've checked ten stores and never found it on the shipping date. It just doesn't happen.
Japan ships it to the west, not the east... |

Maybe it just really depends on where you live?

Yea honestly I think its really random on when we get it or not. I'll checky my stores on Tuesday and if they don't have it then I'll just go Wednesday. Its no big deal really.

Harvest Moon isn't a popular enough title to actually be released on the date specified. It will be shipped that day and stores should have it in the next or sometime throughout the week.

Yea honestly I think its really random on when we get it or not. I'll checky my stores on Tuesday and if they don't have it then I'll just go Wednesday. Its no big deal really. Like I said, we have a million different stores to check. One of them will bound to have it. |

To have avoided all this I really should have just pre-ordered from Amazon or something. Then I would just have to wait for it in the mail. Now I might have to go store searching. However, I don't think many stores will have it tuesday either. Isn't that the day Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is being released? That's probably all they're getting that day.

Seriously, don't get your hopes up. I don't care how many stores might be around you. I can tell you I've gone to countless stores for days on end without the game being there. It's incredibly depressing, really.
We've been through this nonsense with the Harvest Moon series for years. It's incredibly rare for someone to get the game on the date specified. In fact, I think I've only heard of two occasions where that's happened. Normally the stores will have it in by Wednesday or Thursday. Sometimes you'll have to wait until the week after or even longer if you live in Canada. |

But hunting is so much fun.
It shows how hard you tried to get that game. And in the end, the mighty hunter is rewarded with a kick-toosh new game to play. |

Hunting is depressing. The game should be in stock and it isn't. It's really hurtful when you sit there and see others getting the game too, while you can do nothing but wait. And this one of the many reasons I've stopped caring so much. There's no use suffering through the disappointment.

I don't find it depressing.
Even if takes me a while to find, I can always finish up and start New Game+ on my second ToT file. And please stop being all depressing. Its not what the topic is for. Even if you're, don't bring every one down with you. |

I actually got TOT- wait a mintue, I think I got ToT the day it came out. I'm excited about it, but it won't kill me if it's not there. ToT was the first HM I've owned since 64, so maybe that's why I'm not so jaded.

Even so I don't think having to wait one or two extra days for a game to come out shoudn't warrant being depressed or disappointed. As long as you know you're getting it then you should be fine.
