Day 4!!!
Sorry for the delay everybody, busy mornings are crazy... Today's fact will talk about everyone's own little space: their house! Like Tree of Tranquility, there are four basic styles of houses: casual, gorgeous, country, and cute. The basic layout is almost like Tree of Tranquility, except the kitchen and bed are swaped. The table is still centered in the room. House lvl 1 and 2 are one roomed, and the only difference is that lvl 2 is obviously bigger. House lvl 3 adds the childrens room to the right side of the house. The final upgrade, lvl 4, adds a second floor to the home, with the staircase leading to it built in the children's bedroom. The prices for each grade are listed below: LVL 2- 25000G 100 Lumber 100 Material Stone LVL 3- 50000G 300 Lumber 300 Material Stone LVL 4- 150000G 600 Lumber 600 Material Stone Remodeling- 15000 It is also said that collecting materials is much more easier in this game, so don't feel intimidated by the large numbers. The same goes with G. |

Oh my. Well, somebody will be spending a lot of time in TamTam forest. :) And depending on who you marry, you'll have more or less time to uprade your house. I still find it retarded that you can't move the table. But at least the house gets bigger, and the kitchen is smaller. I noticed how in ToT, the "bigger" your house, the bigger your kitchen got. Then the room for furniture got smaller. I like this new house. |

When you're going out to get lumber and stone, the common mushroom is your bestest friend ever. They're extremely common, each one you pick up counts toward your total for the Foraging contest at the end of the year, you can carry 99 of them and have them take up hardly any space, and best of all they're FREE. They don't restore much energy, but if you always pick them up when you see them, you'll have TONS.
I had plenty of time to upgrade my house; I was at Level 3 well before I got married, simply because I was paranoid about not having a big enough house when the time to have kiddies rolled around. >> Oh, and if you're willing to wait for the end of the year to get metric craptons of material, there's a Mining Contest and a Foraging Contest at the New Year's Eve festival. For the Mining Contest, just bring a diamond. For the foraging contest, throughout the year, pick up as many items as you can (you could probably win on mushrooms alone, but I wouldn't risk it; berries are delicious!) Have we already gone over the difference in the tool upgrading system in this game? Silly billies, the kitchen still grows. It's always taking up the corner, though, so the room for furniture isn't much diminished at all. Though, I'm not so sure... I don't really have enough furniture to check... |

I knew the kitchen still grew, but it is much more better being against the wall instead of coming out into the center of the room. ^_^

My eye twitched a little when I saw the numbers for the house upgrade, but it's easier to get materials and such, then I guess it's fine.
Thanks for the mushroom tip by the way. :D |

@Zen: lol
But speaking of stacking mushrooms, can we finally stack same colored wonderfuls? It's really annoying when you have three the same color, but don't stack together. It takes up a lot of space in your rucksack. |

Oh boy. ^.^ These forums are so helpful, I could never leave.
And it was really the wonderfuls that got to me. Everything else was fine, come stacking. Another question: Can you still "accidentally" ship your saddle, brush, shears, bell, and milker? Or are they now counted as actual tools? |
