I would be able to survive too, seeing as I am a superhero.

Otherwise, I have no intention of seeing this movie. I get scared at the slight thought of 2012. I know it will not be an enjoyable year for me...

The thought of the world ending does bother me and I have heard about this for a while... It's always on the back of my mind, I mean it's hard to tell what will happen, but I'm about 99.99% sure it won't end, but then again that .01% bugs meh :/

I know what you're saying, HMR. But nothing will happen. It's like that Y2K thing or whatever. Nothing happened!

Don't worry, I'm the same way. It must be because you hear everyone talking about it that eventually YOU give in.

The only thing that is intriguing about this film is how it connects with the Mayan calculation that on December 21 or 23, 2012 "The end of a cycle," is what is suppose to occur. People speculate it's the end of the world usually because we're a bunch of paranoid insecure sheep herd, but I'm not the kind of person who thinks outside the box which I'll assume that cycle has to deal with someone minor to nature as a whole; taco bell, maybe nothing will happen at all, but millions of lonely people realizing it's getting closer and closer to Christmas.

One thing that I like about the Mayans were there incredible accuracy when it came to astronomy with primitive tools. Anyways, the film doesn't interest me in any other way unless the cause of it is from a giant monster or Cthulhu.

Hot darn would I love a remake of Godzilla US film done right because people keep talking about some film released 1998 starring Godzilla, but they are completely oblivious and blind! Only film I recall that year with a monster was some overgrown iguana that didn't even blast radioactive beams at humans!

lol, was just watching the news and they were talking about how the internet is talking about the end of the world in 2012 because of this movie. 4th grader or something telling his teacher hes too young to die, and NASA making official announcements on their website reassuring nothing unusual. Although Im sure the movie did spark extra interest this has been known about forever... and this was gonna happen sooner or later.. dont give the movie so much credit..

This is absolutely ridiculous. I hate when these things come out or when some conspiracy starts. It's bad enough I live in a state where people think the world is going to end because of biblical reasons.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but when movies and articles like 2012 control people, it's stupid beyond all belief.

So boo to all of you going. I wish you wouldn't support such things. The more money the producers of the movie make, the more bullcrap they can produce for more paranoia.

Once again, this has been known forever, just wasn't close enough to freak us the taco bell out yet. Why not make some money off of it? Though I dont think the movie is going to be good, so Im not seeing it. However if this fuels paranoia in anyway then those morons deserve to be scared.

That being said if 2012 is real may the Mayans save me for last.

I believe 2012 will be a time for change. Maybe a sudden realization and actions will be taken. Sure, a lot may die. But it's certainly not the end of the world.

I'm so against this movie and ANY end of the world article (except for the occasional Zombie movie or game (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalatounge.gif) ), I refuse to have anything to do with them. I told my friend she was a f-ing moron for wanting to watch something so stupid. Her response?

"But Tyler, what will you do when it happens!?"

I walked away.

I just saw the movie!

Haha, it's actually very good. The actors are amazing, they really help make the movie even better. It's not the movie's fault if people believe it, there are tons of movies that are fake, but people believe that that certain plot could happen or whatever. The special effects are also amazing, I loved watching the world implode itself, lolz. I had to go to the bathroom during the part that I wanted to see; Latin America crumbling. D:

The movie is quite long, 2 hours and a half, but I think it's worth it. I have loved this director and his other movies.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) Don't worry, I made sure not to spoil anything. You already know the world is "dying," anyways. It's good! You'll like it. But be prepared for at least one bathroom break. I suggest to go when people are talking.

Haha! Were you the one that said you liked crying during sad scenes? Welllll, I did not see anyone crying, but I was paying attention to the movie. I am sure someone did. There are A LOT of sad-crying moments, so I'm sure you will. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)

I kind of want to be Dec. whatever 2012 already so that we can see what happens! :D
I don't really think anything will happen though.

I don't think I'd pay to go see the movie, but I might catch it online one of these days, just out of curiosity.

ARE YOU F***ING KIDDING ME

THAT WAS THE WORST FILM I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE

APART FROM MISSION IMPOSSIBLE 2 BUT THAT ONE DOESN'T COUNT

The only sad scene was when I remembered I'd actually paid money to see that film. Oh, and when most of the audience clapped at the end.
