I'm Lindstrom and that's the very best thing to be.

Nah, casinos are lame and I don't have any land.

Honestly, I liked the dry heat of the southwestern US, but I haven't really been many places outside the country. I can live pretty much anywhere, but the consistent heat is really nice.

A lot of negatives in that sentence, let me try to figure out what you're saying... so, you're asking if it's bad to be rational in a relationship? A romantic relationship is no different from a regular friendship except the two people like making out and stuff. If someone's being difficult, regardless of how close you are to them, you'll just be like "nuts to you, I'm doing something else til you shut up". Someone who can't accept that they are wrong sometimes will be perpetually miserable.

That's correct. I had a bit of an argument the other day because I'm apparently too rational when I shouldn't be. I understand why being irrational is good at times, but I just don't feel the need to lose self-control.

Not sure I understand the argument of being "too rational". I suppose I'd need more details, which I guess if it ain't meant for public eyes you can ask me later or something on Google Talk.

It's nothing too serious. The argument was the result of me not being irrationally jealous.

No, cuz King of the Hill was boring. Just need to cancel Simpsons and Family Guy (and it's spin-offs) now and then have some fresh new good cartoons pop up.

It wasn't cancelled; Mike Judge decided to stop making it. It's been on since...what...'97?

Anyway, for Lindstrom... Rap: Wunderbar or Not?

King of the Hill was "boring" and you think all movies are art movies...you don't know as much as you'd lead me to believe, do ya?

Family Guy has spin-offs? What has the world of television come to?! I need a lie down.

What's so great about King of the Hill? It was about some Texas people that had very dry lives.

I think the key issue about the removal of King of the Hill was that it was replaced by The Cleveland Show.

Not. Probably cuz most of the rap I've been exposed to hasn't been very impressive, as the genre in general has been pretty heavily milked by the industry.

You never really specified what makes a movie an art movie. Movies themselves are a form of art, so what the hell is an art movie? Like I said, is it a movie about art, or what? Like, really, I could call Die Hard an art movie if I really wanted to. It was the first movie to have crazy exploding buildings, yet despite that it still had an incredibly well crafted script and fascinating characters. The craziest part is the villain's plans (at least in the first movie and the third) would actually work in real life.

Yeah, the only show I bother catching new episodes of is the Venture Bros, which I'm not sure they have outside the US.

Exactly, it was boring.

I have hope that better television will someday emerge from some dark corner of the planet.

I enjoy The Cleveland Show, but I also liked King of the Hill. I'm disappointed that I missed the final episodes. The series had a good run.

So what was so bad about the show then? I didn't quite like it at first, but I came to enjoy it a lot.

I just found it boring. To be fair, I did watch it sometimes and occasionally they had good stuff, but overall it just felt like the humor was oriented around how basic Hank Hill and his family's lives are.

I can definitely see your point. I really didn't get into the show until I started watching the reruns and my friend kept quoting Dale Gribble. Whatever the case, I found the show a good replacement for boredom.

Yeah, it was the kind of show I'd have left on in the background and only half-paying attention to, but I never really found myself digging in or laughing out loud over it.

It was YOU

I'd have to go with the heart. It was interesting to study how it works, the fact that it's always doing something, and how it has surprising power over the body despite only being a pump. I mean, the stomach is barely more than a pump, the lungs are barely more than a bag, but the heart has all these weird (sometimes unexplained) connections. Probably due to all the nerves it has connected to it. I've heard that if you ask someone from Asia to point to their mind, they'll point to the chest. Not because "love is all that matters" or something silly, but because the heart has a greater significance to the body than merely pumping blood. Either that or blood has greater significance than we realize. I'm not sure, but either way I think people don't tend to take as good of care of their hearts as they should.

Might as well go to sleep. Why fight it? Your body knows better.
