I abssolutely despise him. So I most likely will ignore him... Another idea is that when you split the people, try to maybe keep the ones in the same building together. That way it will be easier to talk to them everyday. :)

Poor Julius, either hated or loved. I don't care for him . . . but I'll eventually be marrying him anyway . . . and Maya, who drives me up the wall (Food, food, FOOD!).

The Sprites do have heart lines; I don't know what they are, but they say something different every time they go up a heart level. And they like their color herbs, which are very easy. I've already got all of their wishes. :] 'Course, I don't know what they are either...
Speaking of which, each villager has a wish at three hearts and a dislike at seven. They only say them once, so pay attention!

No, no, no, no, no! Her husband is dead, and she's more upset about it. You have to go to the church and talk to her (and answer three questions correctly; I had issues with this... >>) to activate her arrival in the accessory shop. But she is definitely alive!

Sure, sure. I was specifically asking after bachelor/ettes, but it should be more or less the same. Except villagers will just have 9/10 heart lines and no friendship or love lines. Nurse Fin says that the line for nine and ten hearts are the same, but I don't know if Natsume will do the same thing, or if they will add a line.

5 normal lines
5 heart lines
5 friendship lines (if you are same gender/marry someone else)
14 lines about your family
29 festival lines
7 weather lines (I think)
8 seasonal lines
3 lines about pets

After marriage
10 heart lines
7 marriage/family-related lines
12 lines about your kids
8 seasonal lines
2 (or more) extra weather lines

And then lines for if the bachelor/ette marries a rival, and various story-related lines.
