@Saffy In this picture I was really lucky because there was no wind, but I can bet that my hair is being messy under my hoodie. But on a day where I really want to look good here is what I do: I take a shower, blow dry, then wet down the poofy parts of my hair just enough (like with damp hands not a cup haha) and then I take a comb with many spines, and I coat it slightly with molding puddy (NOT hair gel as hairgel looks greasy and flakes easily) and then go through my hair. The brand I use is called 'Refined' by Axe, but just about any puddy will work
@Darth I always wanted a Growlithe toy...but there was never any *cries* @Mizuki Proooooobably not |

Ha, wow, you seem to have a system. I usually just shower and leave my hair how it is after I dry it. I spike it on occasion but usually only the first few days after getting it cut. I might look into using moulding putty then.

I recommend the Lindstrom method, which is to go for a drive down the highway with your head out the window after having taken a shower. If it's too cold out, just don't even touch your hair after getting out of the shower. Maybe that only works with my hair though. I need to take a newer picture.

Wow. Must work, though, cuz I love your hair, Linstrom. xP My method: Wrap hair around hand and squeeze out water. Walk towards mirror. Brush hair, and brush out part. Grab towel and wrap around hair, and put on top of head for a few minutes. Take down. Shouldn't be dripping anymore. Take comb. Make new part on right side (my right). Brush through hair with comb. It looks fine after that. Sometimes I blow dry it, though, and it looks straighter and shinier. But lots of people say my hair looks pretty and is soft. xP

Hair... we're talking about hair... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) Well, you know guys, if any of y'all decide to change or you just get darn lazy, there's always my method.
Step 1: Wash hair with shampoo of choice. Step 2: Slather hair with conditioner. Step 3: Brush hair. Step 4: Rinse out conditioner. Step 5: ....There is no step five. That's it. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) There is a reason I do it this way. My hair is rather frizzy and tends to get really knotty. If I don't brush it while I've got conditioner in, I'm likely to rip out half my head trying to get out the tiniest of knots. >:/ Hmm... once I get all the necessary pieces for my Kimono together I'll be sure to post a picture. At the moment, the only parts I'm missing are a (period accurate) nagajuban and nagoya obi. (Though, depending on what kind of patterns I find, I may go for the more formal fukuro obi...) Unfortunately, both pieces are rather costly... (Right now, it's looking to be anywhere from $60-$100 dollars for the nagajuban and $75+ for the obi.) Let's just hope I can find them both without breaking my bank. |

My hair:
Shampoo Rinse Condition Rinse Rub a towel through it (like you would with a dog) I don't even need conditioner when it comes to tangles. It's much too short to knot up at all. I use it simply because it conditions it. Now, having hair down to my butt was a different story: Shampoo top Shampoo bottom Rinse Condition Rinse Squeeze out water Squeeze out water Brush the bottom Brush from the top down Let it drip (and get my bottom wet D:) OR: SHAMPOO Rinse Condition Rinse Squeeze out water Squeeze out water Brush from the bottom Brush from the top down Let it drip (and get my bottom wet D:) And sometimes 'braid' would be inserted between 'brush from the top down' and 'Let it drip (and get my bottom wet D:)'. So completely off-topic <3 |

My hair is annoying. xP I'm stuck with straight flat hair that flips out to the sides when it's cut short. Drives me insane, and it's near impossible to style too. My dream hair is like this, even without the styling in the back.. a style that is impossible for my natural hair to manage because it freaks out and goes Selphie on me at that length. It's probably easier to just invest in wigs, but I'd rather wake up with awesome hair or something.
I'm always trying to make my hair wavy. I let it air-dry looking like a tousled mess, and even put annoying products in it, but it always comes out straight. x( |

My hair is a big, frizzy, wavy mess. =/
But I found out this really easy way to get it to look nice, in my opinion. 1. Spray with squirt bottle. 2. Comb out until straight and tangle-free. 3. Put in ponytail while still damp. 4. Leave for a few hours. 5. Remove ponytail. The hair in front of the ponytail stays straight, but everything below it comes out in these big, bouncy curls. Real curls, like my hair had been in curlers. I found it out by accident when I was working, because I was required to wear a ponytail for work. (I hate wearing ponytails) |
