I'll do you one better. Forgot to say I'm naming my person Maple...because I think maple trees turn fiery red in the fall...I could be wrong though. I mean, I DO live in Texas. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) ;
Mm, I dunno either. All the leaves here just turn an ugly brown.

The kids were angels for Halloween~. Well... they wore halos and light clothing. And they were unbelievably cute. owo<33

But I thought your spouse wanted a specific gender, and if you asked them, it'd be letting them decide? Like, Ose wants a son, so if you ask him, he'd say he wanted a son and that's what you'd get. Or if you asked Julius, he'd say he wanted a daughter, and you'd have a daughter.

I guess, but I don't know which spouse wants what (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) So unless someone writes a list, it'll probably remain 50/50 to me. :D If you ask your spouse again, it'll be opposite of the first choice right?

I do that to.
I've been going around the name "Rack" and that's always worked for me, weather it be male or female.
Though recently, for the boy name, I've adopted "Tino" as one.

So yeah, Rack Racken and Tino Tinolito.

Aren't I original? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalagrin.gif)

I base the name's on who I married. My son's name is Hadyn and my daughter's name is Hestia. :3
Cuz, you know, Hadyn mean's fire and Hestia was the Greek goddess of the Hearth...lol.

The Last Olympian. If anybody gets that, I will love you forever.

That's for sure. xP Sigh. Texas rarely gets white Christmases, and there's not really a fall. :(

So!! Tino? It makes me think of the Weekenders! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) Loved that show. LOL! Hee hee...'Rack' for a girl...Just...let's say someone's talking to the girl, right?

"You're so nice, Rack." Or worse:

That's like in Zelda Twilight Princess, at the beginning at some point, after you've finished rounding up the goats, the guy says something and ends with, "Epona, Link." So, my friends and I try to come up with something amusing for that. I think last time we just flat out named Link 'Stupid'. xDDDDD Or maybe it was Idiot. I dunno. It was something degrading. xDDDD

I can't really think of any exotic names to go with marrying a girl like Selena...

I'm going to name my character... Adrian, from the Adriatic Sea I guess

Then my older daughter... Maria, it means "star of the sea"...
And my younger son... Caspian.

Do those sound good? Adrian, Selena, Maria, and Caspian...

My favorite silly thing to name characters in games is naming all the characters the same thing. Or naming them the same name as the villain. It's awesome.

As for the HM kids, I've no real idea. I'll likely just use whatever comes to mind as per usual. Though I have been somewhat interested in using "Anoria", which I don't believe I've actually had a female child to use it on since I thought about it.

I usually stick with naming characters with either a theme that's in my head, a plotline I want to pursue, or whatever comes into my head at the moment. Though for protagonists I nearly always go for Katie or Edan(iel). I might have named my son on my Katie file Edan, and in my Edaniel file my daughter is named Hélène (minus the accents because the game is lame) because I plan to marry Gil in NG+, and wanted to follow the pattern of H-named mayors. Even if she'll never be mayor, I still thought it'd be cute. XD;

I used to always name my son Vincent, but Edan(iel) is deeefinitely my new favorite guy name. <3

Uh. Yeah. I read Last Olympian. Can't wait for the next series coming out. ;]

Yep. My family is complete...I may go after Julius or Gill after that. Or not. Never know. Knowing me, I'll start a new name and get halfway through and notice I'm accidently wooing Ignis again. <3 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)

Day 9!

Today we will be talking about the protagonists. In Tree of Tranquility you had the choice to be a male or female (just like any other Harvest Moon). In Animal Parade, you have the choice to be the two new male and female protagonists AND the returning Tree of Tranquility protagonists too. There is really no difference between who you choose. Each character will wear the same clothes as the other choice for that gender. For example: If you choose a Tree of Tranquility protagonist, you will not wear the clothes from Tree of Tranquility, instead you will wear the new Animal Parade clothes.

Uh...Z...it's 'wear' not 'where.' I'm sorry. The one thing I point out is that teeny tiny mistake. But it's not my fault. That kind of thing makes my eye twitch. Okay. I'll stop now.

OMG, I didn't know that! That's awesome!! :D

Interesting fact about the seasonal clothes: the Spring/Summer clothes and the Fall/Winter clothes each have one unique shape, but the designs vary so much that it's difficult to tell. (It's also why the red gothic lolita dress is SO INCREDIBLY SHORT; in every other outfit, that set of polygons is used to form a shirt.)
Anyway, I just felt like sharing that.

You know, you don't play as your child in NG+. That would get a bit too hairy with the genetics; one minute your kid's got bright orange eyes and white hair and the next they're plain brown-hair-brown-eyes just like you...
No, instead, you select the new protagonist, and after you move into your house, your child from the previous file pays you a visit and gives you whatever gift you sent off with her.

Akari looks cute in Hikari's clothes... but I think Hikari looks better in them. I always associate Akari with green, so I think she looks better in the green version of the starting clothes.

Once, in Houston, it snowed on Christmas Eve. IT WAS AWESOME~!

It never snows here...rather. I moved, and I haven't seen it yet. I live in Houston. ;o

The clothes thing sounds amusing, but I can't say I quite understand it. Anyone mind explaining it a bit? <3

Thanks Zen. Yeah, I tend to make the most errors in these posts because I'm always typing them in a rush to get out the door to the bus stop. It is also always really early... ^_^
