Phantasy Star Online? I bought the PC version and wasn't impressed. I can see it being awesome on the PS2, which is probably what I should have gotten it for.

What the hell are you talking about? PSO wasn't BOUGHT for the PC, and it wasn't ON the PS2.

Okay, I got PSO confused with Phantasy Star Universe. Are you gonna hold that against me?

Yes I'm glad it's open! And if you need to work you can always come back later. I think I'll play S.T.A.L.K.E.R. for a bit.

It's just more of a console game. Another example would be Sacred 2; it's gotten great reviews and sales as a console game but the PC version isn't as well recieved. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/emot-iiam.gif)

Yes he did, pretty quickly too. And I credit divine intervention! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalagrin.gif)

He's just getting to be that age. And no, I don't like to start my mornings off with a bang, so to speak.

I actually used to have a crush on him, but now I have Twi. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalasmile.gif) Oh, and he's had Kyle since waaaaay back, so it wouldn't have worked out.

Is it weird that I had a dream about Max Records last night? He was in his wolf suit D: I wasn't really in the dream until the end. I helped him find his way home.

It's not weird at all. Now for my two cents. *clears throat*
There are so many different contradicting theories on what dreams mean, but I think Max symbolizes your childhood and wish for eternal youth. Helping him find his way home may have been your subconscious telling you to accept your mortality and letting good memories stay home as good memories, not something you have to return to.
But in all honesty it was probably just a normal dream brought on by thinking about Where the Wild Things Are so much. I have a tendency to overanalyze stuff.

I actually agree with your theory. And after writing out what happened in the dream, it feels more like that.

Well, there were other parts of the dream. Somehow it started with that cable song they made a commercial for. And it sort of went on that it was these four guys (not actually) doing the song and it went from a commercial to this very long story, which involved them helping Max get home. But only on the condition he had some sort of snack for a "party" which he didn't, but pretended he did. He was stranded on a country road and couldn't call home because it was Saturday and not Sunday.

They begrudgingly took him along for the drive to return him home. At some point they stopped at a store, and the guy sitting beside Max went in and bought some of those cherry candies with the white and red swirl (the name escapes me, do you know?) so it looked like he had a snack all along. In the end Max ended up being dropped off in this slummy looking town where he grew up. He mentioned having friends he used to play with and how his mother lived elsewhere.

I entered the picture at this point and took him to his father's house, though he told me not to be seen at first. Then he told his dad how I supposedly saved him at which point they thanked me. It looked as though his parents were getting back together too - or maybe they were doing naughty things before we arrived. And then for some reason the dream began to loop but I woke up shortly after.

It's great that you can find the symbolism that may be in it, and it's also pretty incredible you were able to describe such a surreal dream so eloquently.
I think that the part where they thanked you may be your desire to help yourself, seeing as you identify so much with Max.

Thank you. I tend to write down the dreams I remember so clearly as soon as I can. I believe they have significant meaning for me to decode and change aspects of my life or come to terms with. Sometimes they encourage me to write stories, though I never have as a result of a dream yet.

You may be right. Perhaps that's also why I'm not actually in the dream until the end, yet I'm the one thanked for saving Max. The more I think about it, I felt my view was from that of Max when I wasn't around too.

That didn't even occur to me, that you might have been experiencing the parts as Max when you weren't there as you see yourself. But you obviously know a lot more about yourself than anyone else.

I hadn't added the detail, because I felt I was just an observer for the most part. But I do recall paying more attention to Max and seeing parts through his eyes. I'm glad I do identity myself with him then :)

Why does it feel like I have homework today? I have a deadline and need to get a slew of programming done.

Ugh. Homework. I hope you're not worse off; I have to learn the Japanese alphabet and do a bunch of stuff for co-op. And I won't have much time since a friend's coming over.
