Day 23
Today is a simple fun fact! In Tree of Tranquility, the Bar where Kathy and her dad worked was located in the Inn. In Animal Parade, the Armonica Bar, is now serperate completely from the Ocarina Inn. Well actually, the Bar is located right below the Inn, but they are not connected through the interior. The Armonica Bar has a counter, a few tables, and a stage. Selena will usually be dancing here, and the usual customers are Luke and Owen. Chase also workd here. |

I don't know if this has been answered {probably has} but are there still the annoying "There, there"'s and "Let's Go!"'s or are we safe from those this time? :P

If I remember correctly, I read somewhere that there are no voices in this one,but I'm not 100% positive about this.

I really hope the annoying voices are gone. They are the reason why I mute my TV when I play ToT and turn on my iPod. I really can't stand them.
But I can't wait for Animal Parade though! I have to choose between HM and Kingdom hearts 358/2 days for Christmas. I will get one for Christmas, and the other for my birthday in Jan. I'm having a hard time deciding. |

There are no voices. HUZZAH! The animal interactions are a lot shorter, too. It makes me happy~ :3
And the rival child events I've seen so far are cute~. So far, Heath's and Vivian's. I won't spoil them for you. I'm having SO MUCH FUN dressing Riley. I got him and my character almost to match once. Well, we kinda looked alike... nyuuu~ it was adorable. Oh, and my second daughter, Kiki, has been born. I'm anxious to see what she'll look like when she grows up. Imma make her a romanticist. :D >> Admittedly, I haven't been playing much (Or coming here much!). I've been playing too much SoulSilver... >> |

I'm sooo looking forward to dressing the kids and Hikari! I can so see myself spending all my money on clothes, though, instead of things that are more important ^^;
>> Admittedly, I haven't been playing much (Or coming here much!). I've been playing too much SoulSilver... >> While this sounds like blasphemy now, I suppose all HM games get boring at some point, so I shall not scold (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) |

Day 22
Today we will be talking about what I like to call marching! In Tree of Tranquility, you were able to take your pets for walks for example. In Animal Parade, your able to go marching with all of your family members or pets. What I mean by marching is, when you go up to someone on your farm, you are able to have them follow you around, almost like your having a little parade. This could help you bring your family with you to festivles. When walking, it also boosts up how much the person/pet likes you! |

While this sounds like blasphemy now, I suppose all HM games get boring at some point, so I shall not scold (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) It's not that EAM has gotten boring! I got both games at about the same time, and I've mostly just been flitting between the two. Lately, I've been on more of a SoulSilver streak. I can't wait until Kiki grows up, then I can have a whole line of adorable, silver-haired magic folk following me about. Yaaaay! Oh, and I figured out what Riley likes (Boiled eggs!) and managed to unlock the first child event. IT'S REALLY CUTE. I think I'm gonna love these events. Even if they eat up my daylight. |

I have to admit that, aside from only being able to keep 3 types of animals at a time in your barn and Ose's head being huge, this game seems a lot better then ToT. Thanks for the awesome topic ZBoy, it's making me really look forward to getting AP.

They're talking about the voices where every morning your character would say: "Let's go!" and every time you pet one of your animals they would say: "There, there." ;)

Those voices never bothered me much . . . probably because I almost never, ever play Harvest Moon games with sound. I always mute the TV and put in a nice audiobook. If I don't have an audiobook, I listen to music.
But I know everybody else thinks the voices were extremely annoying though. I did notice that was true the few times I played with sound. I'm glad they aren't in AP . . . unless Natsume decides to add them . . . >_> |

Day 21
Today we will be talking about a simple fact today that I just really like. You childreen get their own room! Yes, instead of having to share with the parents room, they get to have there own room, seperated by a door! The children's room is located to the far right of the house. Its a small room that, after having both children, contains two small child beds, and the rest is up to you to place furniture where you desire. Later on, if you get the second floor added to your house, the stairs will be place in the hild room. |

Is the upstairs to the house again pointless like in the other games? Like, just another spot to place furniture or does it serve any other kind of purpose?

If you have a huge pet (like a full-grown bear), it stays on the second floor.

But it was basically just one spot for one piece of furniture in ToT. I'm still bitter about how you could barely put any furniture anywhere. >,< Yay, doors! Now mommy and daddy can have a bit of privacy! ;D |
