Barnes and Noble says 10-12. But it could very well have been pushed back as well, since the game was pushed back. Some web sites just don't like to update that fast.

Yep, I checked and everywhere else it says 11/3. That means Barnes and Noble is slow to update, like IGN is. Oh well, I'd get it just for the pictures and screenshots. I can't wait to get the English version so I know what everyone is saying. I'm hoping to have finished Fable 2 by that time.

It says Nov. 3 for Barnes and Nobles now... So much for getting that this week.
Has anyone seen any AP/AM videos with the person using the old ToT characters? Every video I find only stars the new characters. I'm starting to miss the ToT characters... |

I know, everyone got so excited over the wizard/witch and goddess/god that they left everyone else out. I think I've seen a few videos on Youtube, though, that focused on other characters. Not specifically AP though. Most of them are, for example, Chase videos with footage from both ToT and AP.
Edit~ Barnes and Noble sent me an alert Monday I think, telling me that it was delayed, and then their site changed the date. Talk about waiting till the last minute. I can imagine someone in their warehouse looking for the book, and it's not there. So he asks someone, who asks someone else, who actually checks their computer for release dates. Oh, oops, better let customers know. |

I was watching a video on Youtube about the bells in the game, I had no idea that the bells had their own little tune, sort of like in ToT when the Harvest Sprites sang their song. I like the chimes the bells make, it sounds great, and then they show you the townspeople watching the music or whatever flow across the land...
This game is AMAZING!!! |

I'm begging you to please not hold your breath! When ToT came out, the week before release they would push it back a week, and so on and so on until people nearly went mad. Now, I'm not expecting them to actually do that this time, but I'd rather be prepared when and if they push the release date back again. I even got the game a day late at the last minute, and nearly had a fit. Apparently the shipment got delayed, so instead of the stores in my area getting it on the shelves October 1, they didn't even get them until that night.

Doesn't it always take an extra day for the game to get to the store? It was like that for Rune Factory Frontier when I bought it.

The amount of time it takes for a game to reach a local store usually depends on where your located. Like I live in Illinois and the games are always there on time. Other times you'll hear that it came a day or two late because the store is located in a more, I guess you could say, rural area. ;)

I live in Cincinnati and my games are always a day late. Except my Nancy Drew games, those come in on time without fail.
When I asked the guy at the store why that was, he said that the release date is the day the games are shipped out. It takes a day for them to actually arrive at wherever they are being shipped to. |

The release date for ToT was September 30, so it should have hit shelves October 1. I went to, like, 3 stores October 1 and all of them said they had expected it that day but it never showed up, ie they were scheduled to get it that day according to their computers, but something got delayed. So the stores near me got it October 2 instead of 1.
And yes, I live in a more rural area. |

Agh you guys! All this talk about release dates is making me super excited! I want it nao.
I bet people have already asked this, but I'm not going to go through all 100 something pages to look for the answer. Are the festivals the same in AP as in ToT? |

So... is anyone else going to bother with the guide, or am I the only pathetic one? I wasted twenty bucks on the guide for ToT, and it was full of stuff I already knew. I'm gonna stick to GameFaqs.... General_Wolfy: I'm not positive, but I THINK that they're different...eh...now that I think about it, I honestly have no idea. Sorry. x-x |

^ Bones is awesome.
I wouldn't buy the guide either. You can find more in depth stuff online for free. Though I admit they don't have the pretty pictures. |

I believe the only major changes is instead of a Flea Market, there is now the Circus. Also, I believe there are newer festivals like the Animal/Pet Festival. ;)

There is a Firefly Festival, like in MM, you can ask someone on a date and you put a lighted-flower in the river, and it flows down the river.
And the Thanksgiving Festival, also like MM, you go around and get cake from people you have a certain number of hearts with, and you can give it to them, or someone else. Basically, there is one "date" festival, and one "contest" festival. Then the circus. |
