Pokemon Discussion =D Options

I have so many 'mons it's ridiculous at this point. Plus I have my monster lv. 100 team and such, but other than that, there's maybe four - five people on here that might participate in a mini-tourney just because of interest levels. :/

Like, I wouldn't mind battling some, just not totally sure how a Poketourney would fly? Who knows, I may be wrong.

The issue of it being done is nil to me. So long as I don't have to start it. I think the key issue is how well it would actually PLAY online. I've never really done it before, but basic trading has taken AGES before...

Like I said, though, if you just wanted to battle or somethin', I'm always up for some competition, or tradin', or whatever. Tourney'd be cool if it got nicely organized.

The only problem her is that it has to be more organized [I think I could handle that] and the number of entries, and we would have to set a date and time possible for everyone
another thing is that I can't connect anymore [just noticed that] so...I would need someone to back me up in the "cup", I could make a few arrangements here in the forum but its all up to you people...

I couldn't do a tornament, since the only game I actually have a team on is FireRed. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)

I deleted the files on all my other games. I totally wiped out the elite four with my FireRed team though. I'm pleased with it, but it'd probably get totally trashed against another team put together by a person and not a game. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/weirdsmile.gif)

He's always been my favorite. He always makes me laugh. 8D
Or James. I had a little kid crush on him way back when.

And I still have most of the first season on VHS in my cabinet, being as it's about the only season/version of Pokemon I've watched. The newer ones I really don't mind as much, with voice changes and such. The only voice change I ever really noticed and hated was the original James. He had a very sultry, manly voice in like the first two episodes, then it changed drastically into that silly, half-womanish voice that still occurs today.

I don't watch the anime enough to have a favorite protagonist, so I'll just go with Ash even though he does nothing but let me down. If you said antagonist, I'd go with Meowth. He so silly. In the game I sorta want to say Gold/Hirock/Whatever the crap, but Red is the original guy and just too awesome. He's all...

I always kind of liked the ??? rival from G/S/C. :0
He was such a bully, and yet sooo cool. He had teh fashion sense.
Pretty sure he really was the meanest rival of them all.

He pretty much was. Gary was just a jerk to YOU, but it's implied that ol' ??? was abusive to his 'mons as well as being a jerk to you. I always felt that in spite of his bullish behavior, he was just a little dork because I'd kick his butt without a single thought. Of course, lately AI's a bit better and I'm not going to evolve my Pokemon so I hope he maybe steps it up a little and doesn't fall down to a Totodile's ice fang.

Man, if only I had someone to play that with, I would snap it up in a heartbeat. It tugs at my nostalgia-strings.

I don't remember ever playing that game, but I do remember seeing it in stores when I was younger. But my family was seriously house-poor (meaning our house payments & property taxes were eating up every bit of money we had) and being able to get toys on days that weren't my birthday or Christmas was extremely rare... so I never got it, despite wanting it. >.>;

EDIT: Dude, I just looked up the insctruction sheet for that game and was greeted with a picture of Pikachu back when he was properly fat! Gimme back my chubby Pikachu Gamefreak! These new anorexic Pikachu just don't do it for me. XDDDD

I didn't have that one, but I did have Pokémon Monopoly and Pokémon Sorry!. Both awesome games. I still have the character pieces from Monopoly somewhere, but I haven't a clue where the games themselves vanished to.

well...I don't think a championship is a bad idea at all, it would be nice to interact with forum people, and its not a big championship, you don't have to raise them specifically to fight, it's not like a a cup...
Anyway, its just an idea ^^

I did want to do a Pokemon tournament, but it didn't seem like I'd get enough people or there would be people with all level 100s and it'd be crazy.
