I heard there's this new game called Pokemon Rumble coming out, and I saw a video that made it almost look like classic Zelda, where you're playing as a pokemon and beating up a whole ton of other pokemon. I had expected pokemon gangs going to fight eachother with pipe wrenches and knives, though.

It's like a beat 'em up type game where you go from one point to another killing whatever pops up. Sometimes pokemon drop versions of themselves to recruit and there's a whole lotto system thing and all the pokemon are apparently wind up toys...

Man, in all the games there's that ONE guy who has a whole team of Magikarp that don't do CRAP. And it's annoying cause wastin' ones pp on them is not fun.

He's the beach/fisherman guy in all the games. I know exactly what you are talking about. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)

He may only have magikarps, but he's also decent for training up the Pokemon who's ALWAYS lagging behind when you're trying to keep your team even.

Darth, I have to disagree with you. This one is obviously the best video.

Wow, this topic is dying...
Why don't we tell each others Pokémon team, and even maybe a championship online [DS] ? |

You know a Pokemon discussion is floundering when the main subject is Magikarp.
A championship would be bad for me because I've never ever raised my 'mons to seriously fight other players. At all. I also don't actually have a solid team... Just whatever works at the time. |

well...I don't think a championship is a bad idea at all, it would be nice to interact with forum people, and its not a big championship, you don't have to raise them specifically to fight, it's not like a a cup...
Anyway, its just an idea ^^ |

Thing is, I think at least a FEW people here have raised proper teams. So fighting them wouldn't feel very fun. =\

Maybe, but winning is not the purpose, the purpose is to play not to compete...
Anyway, again, just an idea It'll depend on the many people, not only you and me anyway ^^ |

Naturally. Just putting my 2˘ in is all. I just don't think my Delibirds would stand up against most anyone.
