Looking at Famitsu topic in neogaf forums and they list a new Havest Moon for DS but there are no scans yet (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalacry.gif)

And we'll see this one, when exactly? lol...^^;

But yeah, apparently the direct translation of it is something like "Village of the Twins" (according to someone in the NeoGAF Forum), which sounds quite interesting. Can't wait to find out more about this one (even if it is the billionth HM game out on the DS) :D

I only own one Harvest Moon game on the DS.
Why can't they slow down on their creations? For an unpopular game they sure make new games fast. >.>

Whoever said that Harvest Moon was unpopular?

It's obviously got a rather large fan-base if they're able to churn out so many games... (though it's obviously no Final Fantasy or Sakura Wars)

I don't see what's so bad about having so many on the DS. They're probably easier to make, cheaper to make and plus it's portable and cheaper than a Wii.

Village of the Twins sounds interesting, kind of excited.

*Sigh* no scans yet (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalacry.gif)
But on the other hand there's a 1up article that mentions something very interesting
QUOTE
The ability to raise alpacas is not the only new feature in Harvest Moon: Twin Villages, announced by Marvelous Entertainment over in Japan this week. Oh, no, no, no. You can also engage in beekeeping. Woo-hoo!

The new Harvest Moon, coming to the DS, may not stray far from the farm-'em-and-milk-'em formula the series has followed for lo these many years, but at least the story this time around is interesting. The game's set in two different villages -- the European-themed Bluebell, and the Japanese-styled Konohana -- and their respective mayors are trying their best to get you, a would-be farmer, to move into their towns.

That choice is up to you, and it'll be affected by what exactly you want to do in this game. Bluebell is primarily focused on animals and livestock; it's where you'd keep herds of cattle, as well as the aforementioned alpacas. Konohana is much more involved with crops, meanwhile, from rice to fruits and vegetables. It'll be your job to become successful in whatever you decide to concentrate on, eventually marrying someone of the opposite gender and living out your happy, alpaca-laden life in harmony (presumably).

No US release has been announced yet, but the game's due out this winter in Japan.

If you mean the blackhaired little girl in my profile that's Hama from Ar tonelico: Melody of Elemia a game developed by Gust (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalasmile.gif)
Unless you meant the other girl the one in my avatar...

I actually like how they release Harvest Moon games...
I mean it's good for if you beat one, just go onto another one.
Also the Harvest Moon games are not "Un-Popular"... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalasad.gif)

Harvest Moon games tend to last me a while so I'd really prefer it if they just focused on a single game for longer and maybe worked on adding more features/events/dialogue and ironing out glitches which always seem to be a problem than release a new game every year or so.

I'm sure Natsume's finance department sees it differently though.
