So with the grass not growing, can you let your animals out in the Winter? Or will they get sick?

I don't know, I let my animals out in the winter as long as it wasn't snowing and they were fine. But I always fed them inside.

I have a question. Since the God/Goddes doesn't live with you, does that mean you can't go on a walk with them? If yes, then what else do miss out on? I was also wondering exactly how the honeymoon scene works (for anybody). - If you can't walk with the God/Goddess, I think I'll skip out on scripting those fight scenes. Sorry, Zen! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) You miss out on walks, lunches, and chores. Also seeing them in the house and around the farm, which I think is nice. I don't know if they come over for your Birthday. I won't get to see the Honeymoon scene; as the mayor does not attend my wedding to the Witch (whom I took on a lovely date yesterday; she should be sending me a love letter soon as I tear myself away from Soul Silver long enough to start playing today), but supposedly you give the tickets to Pascal like you would any normal boat ticket, and you go to the island and you and your spouse walk on the beach and watch the sunset. :/ That's about all I know. |

I married the Wizard in my first game, so I never went on the honeymoon. I think that's a real stinker. If you want all the rival children, you have to give up things like the honeymoon. But I'm marrying Chase in my second/third game.

The only thing that irritates me about marrying the Wizard or Witch, is that they don't wear wedding outfits, but the character does. It would have been nice to the Witch in an awesome gothic black type wedding dress.
My favorite wedding dress would have to be Selena's though. It has a nice exotic look, and its not a boring wedding dress you would expect to see. I'm just obsessed with everything Selena though... |

Aww...why? The only thing I didn't like about her was her first intro, when she commands you to buy her a flower. I laughed out loud at the tv, and told her no, but I did like her dancing part. Plus, there has never been another character in HM like her. Unless it was one of the HM games I didn't play. She's unique.

Do you have to put your animals outside? I usually don't in most HM games. I just leave them in the barn.
Plus, is it like in AWL where you go outside and ring the bell (button in AWL) and they all come out, and then you ring the bell inside and they all come in? Or do you have to round them up to get them in and out? |

It's one bell outside that you ring for the animals to go inside and outside, except silkworms stay inside 24/7.

You don't have to put them outside if you don't want to, but they like it if you do.

If you put them outside, they'll become happier and gain hearts quicker if you let them outside. Plus, the more happier your animals become, the better quality product they'll produce. Hope this helps. ;)

My animals were always weird about the quality they gave me. My moo moo has 10 hearts, and she sometimes gives me good milk, and sometimes shining. >-> <-< I still love her though. 8D

I think you can ask about certain bachelor/ettes, and he'll tell you something about them, like, how much they like you? Something like that. I think his heart level drops if you're a girl and you ask about someone else. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)

After finding the crystal ball for the wizard, you can ask him about any of the bachlores/bachlorettes. (You can not ask about the God, Goddess, the Qitch, or himself.) I hear he tells you about how a person feels about you and I believe he tells you what items they like. Hope this helps. :)

Soooo.....
The Animal Parade Official Strategy Guide is released on Monday (so far). I wasn't going to get it, especially after everyone dissected the game already on RS, but then I got to thinking. And thinking leads to compulsive behavior. So I ordered it. Mostly I want to see what's different. I want to see if they reveal anything we haven't found out yet, or to see what they changed dramatically, etc. Is it weird that I'm ordering a strategy guide for the pure intent of comparing it to an online community site? It would make a great paper for my Communications Theory class, come to think of it. So... is anyone else going to bother with the guide, or am I the only pathetic one? |

I won't be bothering with the 'official' guide. I'll be using a guide online. I'm not gonna go spending money for something I can find free online. >_> (And the online ones are usually better anyway.)
