ZBoy, I am very appreciative of you putting up facts everyday. Whether other people think they are important or not, I sure enjoy them and like to read them. So keep up the good work! I so agree :) This is one of the topics that I tune into the most on the forums, just for the great feeling of the days actually going down instead of up (which I feel it does T__T), and for the little trivia about AP. Thanks for that, ZBoy (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalasmile.gif) Today we'll be talking about a new feature in the Harvest Moon series: Photography. I love this new addition to the game :) Although it's quite a small part, a picture can make all the difference to spruce up your house. And I agree about the family photo! I'm so looking forward to rounding up the family and sticking them in front of a camera (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalagrin.gif) |

Day 41
Wow, it's been 10 days. I just want to thank you all for supporting this thread and making it what it is today. To be honest, after I was told that there was another countdown, I really didn't have high hopes that I would be able to keep this thread around. You guys have shown so much dedication! Thank you! Now for the fact: In Animal Parade, one of the new events is the circus! The circus takes place in the churhc plaza, where most of all the festivities occur. From what I can tell, the circus seems to be a lot of fun. Theres an elephant, girafe, lion, hippo, and a zebra. It seem that after Theodore the ring master (yes the old mayor we "all" love) puts on his show, you can bring your family around and you can interact with each animal. For example, ylu can have your children slide down the grafe's neck! The circus comes once a season, and seems to have taken the place of the flee market. |

Does the circus cost money or is it free like other regular events such as New Years Eve and thing like that?

The circus is free. Other than providing the taxi service and watching Theodore get squished by one of his animals (Which I'll bet every HMDS player is DYING to see), though, there's not much to do there.
If you have kids, you can watch them slide down the neck of the giraffe. :[ I don't have kids. Vivi is pregnant, though~! We're having a boy. :3 Photography is fun! Though the only photo I've actually hung on my wall is my wedding picture. I love the Witch/Wizard wedding photo; so much more romantic than the normal photos. Usually it's just the two of you standing outside the church, but with the Witch and Wizard, it's actually a picture of your wedding kiss. x_x I should keep my mouth shut with all the game info. ZBoy has to come up with forty more facts. |

I wonder if the circus sells peanuts or something. I'm actually more excited about the transportation factor of the circus animals than anything else. Oh, and the photo ops!

I like the camera. I could go all spy and stalk Luke, taking pictures of him. Heeheehee . . . (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)
Seriously, the stalking opportunities with thing would awesome. I'd like to try getting images of all the random things the characters do, I hear some of them play instruments now. |

x_x I should keep my mouth shut with all the game info. ZBoy has to come up with forty more facts. Haha. It's ok. It's helpful because you actually have the game, where as I'm just basing off my facts from what I've heard. So far it's easy to think of a fact everyday, it's probably gonna get harder when theres a few days left. I'm sure the last few facts will be really lame ones like the Perry, and the door fact, but ehh, I don't want to think about that now. :) |

I am so easily entertained and amused. I mean, I have you seen my dialogue collection from ToT? I find collecting that fun! So naturally, I love reading trivial little things like about the doors. |

Day 40
For the next few days I'll be "exploring" a region of Castanet. Today we'll be looking at the center of the island: The Clarinet District. The Clarinet District is where your farm is located. Unlike Tree of Tranquility, you do not get to choose different plots, but your farm is pretty big. There is your house which can be upgraded a few levels. Next to the house is the barn and the coop where your animals are located. Behind the barn, there is a hot spring which can be used after completing the red bell. There are 3 plots that you can plant crops at. You originally start with 1, but you can buy the extra 2 at the town hall. Also unlike Tree of Tranquility, you do not get to roll the easy way and just get a free grass field. In Animal Parade, you need to grow your own grass in one of the fields located around the district. Your animals also roam around free in your farm area instead of being trapped in a little field. Tomorrow will bring the "exploring" of the beautiful town. :) |

I don't really like that your animals can just roam around in you crops, I liked the way in ToT they were stuck in that one area.

I wouldn't mind the roaming if I could build a fence to restrict them a bit.

Yeah, I think I'm gonna get really paranoid trying to water the crops with all my animals in it... :P Maybe I'll make the main plot closest to your house a grass field and the the one further away the plot for my crops. That way, the animals will hopefully stay near the barn and not go near the field far away which I would use for my crops.

The animals can roam around all over your crops? That's going to get annoying...I can so see it turning out like this >__< That's precisely why it's a good idea to water your crops first, and then let your animals out. But, it seems they get only in the first plot of land, the one that you receive with your farm. I've never seen them walk into the other two plots of land (unless you push/put them there intentionally). |

Day 39
Today's fact isn't very WOW-tastic, but I think it's fun. Next to the mayor's house, there is a little school. In the school, Gil teaches all the rival and your own children. Every once in a while you may find a little cutscene of your child and a rival child discussing something about school at the desks. It seems though that school isn't always bustling and everyone doesn't really go to it, but it seems to get a lot more attention than the classroom in Tree of Tranquility. |

The only people who go to the school are your children and Vivian, strangely enough. And Angie, but only for that one event. (The events that take place in the school are with Angie and Vivian.)
Of course, I've just heard that. ^^ I haven't gotten those kids yet. Baby Riley will be born soon, though! :D Er, soonish. His birthday will be Winter 6; it's Fall 23 now. I don't think even Gill goes in there... o___o; |
