You both have dark hair that's kinda wavy, and dark eyes. But that's about all you have in common. :]

Well sorry if your getting worked up about this. Just to me: You two look the same. Doesn't really matter though, does it?
....I wish my parents were home so I could whine about the photos again. |

I feel like a hypocrite right now, but seeing as this picture is over ten years old, I think I can post it without reneging on my internet "morals".
So... this is me "way back" in 1999. I was wearing a dress that my mother made (and that you wouldn't catch me dead in now) and had nail polish on just so I could have the satisfaction of scratching it off when I didn't feel like listening to the teacher or drawing all over my arms and legs with crayola markers. What can I say? I was a creative kid. >:) And sorry about the dust. This is a really old scan, and I apparently didn't bother cleaning the scanner before I did it. [attachment=483:piccysofme004.jpg] And, just out of curiosity... how old do I look here? I, of course, know how old I was, and I know how old people back then thought I was... but I really don't think I look the age they generally said I did. :/ |

Honestly, before I looked at your age, I was going to say 9. It's interesting that you would post such an old photo..like the "before" shot. Did you already post a present photo I can compare?

No, I haven't posted a recent photo at the moment. That's sort of why I said I wasn't going back on my internet morals by posting it. (Though, the most recent picture I have right now was taken about a year ago. So, it's probably a moot point anyway.)
And it's interesting you thought I was 9 then. Most people thought I was around 6 years old. In fact, this was the same year that some smarmy brat came up to me on my first day and said, "Hey, Kindergarten-baby! What're yoouuu doin' in the third grade hall?" (I wanted to punch him SO freaking bad. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) ) It probably would've been harder to tell had I put up a group picture or something. (Which I, unfortunately, do not have.) You can't tell there, but I was like... 40 inches tall in that picture. You know what's kind of sad, though? People still can't guess my age in person. For my birthday last May, I went out to Six Flags and while I was there my dad had one of those Age Guessers try to guess how old I was and she came up three years short. :/ I just don't get it. I think I look my age. |

Don't worry, my sister's 22, and I'm 16, but people sometimes mistake me for being the older one. D: I think you looked to be about nine or somewhere in that age group. Though it might've been harder to tell, if, like you said, there was a group shot and you were shorter or compared to other people your age.

My brother's three years younger than me and everyone always thinks he's older than I am... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)
Well, I have some more... "recent" pics. They're actually from three different years. I haven't changed much in a while... [attachment=502:Warwick_Castle.jpg] Here I was at Warwick Castle in England, trudging up all those steps, carrying a forty pound backpack and a twenty pound duffel bag. I hated that trip. [attachment=504:NeenerRe...eSharper.jpg] Not much to say about this one... I had to touch it up a bit and reduce the size. It was nasty looking before. [attachment=503:KimonoResize.JPG] I did all I could to make this picture look better... but it wasn't taken by me, so I can't be blamed. There were four other people in this photo, but I didn't think they'd appreciate being uploaded to a site they don't even know of, so I had to cut them out. The two flanking me are guys of fairly average height... I only reach their shoulders.... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) Are these decent enough comparison pics, Jason? (And just a note, my hair actually isn't as dark as it looks in that one picture... the lighting was really bad...) |

Darth, I love you.
Mizuki, you don't look anything like you did when you were younger! Meanwhile, really the only thing that's changed about me is my hair turned from blonde to dark, like yours. ;P |

Yeah... I know... that's why I felt pretty safe putting that old pic up. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) But, you have to think - there were ten very formative years in between two of the shots... a person can grow and change a lot in ten years.
