Didn't you ask that before? Anyway, it's gym.

I bet they got some fun activities, I wouldn't rule it out.

Jonathan, but the only people who say the whole thing are people who don't know any better. The list of nicknames is extensive.

I have a pretty sharp memory. A lot of certain images and things people say stick in my head forever.

I take your word to be the best out of everyone here.

Why is it so difficult to believe a childhood friend of mine now has a daughter? His girlfriend gave birth on Friday. Even after seeing the pictures and having it sit in for two days, I'm still incredibly stunned. I knew the baby was coming but I still can't believe it.

That sort of thing is always weird at first, but then the more it happens with other people you know the more natural it'll feel. I had friends that got married and/or had kids right after high school and it seemed too rushed. It's always weird seeing people do that sort of thing when you still think of yourself as being too young to consider any of it. I think when you make the decision that you ought to be having kids and getting married it all seems right, I guess.

I was going to ask in your thread whether or not you still consider yourself a kid (in terms of age and health, not responsibility), but then I remembered you closed your thread. If you read this, go ahead and answer here.

I personally feel that it's just a sign of growing up. I'd like to believe I'm still a kid, but lately I find it very hard to believe that to be the case.

Referring to age and health specifically...

Age - I argue with myself often. There are times where I'll look at my age and think, "Wow, I'm almost 22 now. I'm an adult now. And my life is running out of time." I realize I'm getting older and many of my fondest moments play largely upon nostalgia. I feel as though I'm trying to hold onto the past with a fear of moving forward. I fear that I'm inching my way closer to death and that I need to make use of my time. But then I'll sit back and question why I'm being so concerned. I am actually quite young and compared to other people I have quite a bit to show for my life now. I'm not even 22 yet I've already finished a four year degree, taken on two jobs, and now have an internship. I've made good use of my time and have a lot of potential before me. So maybe I need to just sit back and relax for a bit, and enjoy my years while I'm still young. But the debate goes on in my head. I should appreciate my youth more, though.

Health - Not so much. Throughout the past few months I've taken on a more serious approach when it comes to taking care of myself. Even throughout university -- or rather especially -- I would eat all sorts of junk with little concern to my health or well-being. If I got sick then it just happened and I considered it a random act. I now realize I have a lot of control over my body and my health as a result. So instead of eating lots of sugar, sodium, and general junk I now find myself very aware of what I consume and understand my limits. I have also started eating salads and seriously cutting back on all the junk I once used to consume. Considering I used to drink pop on a regular basis everyday I'm very proud to say that I can go weeks without so much as a cup of it. There's the odd occasion I'll splurge but it's very rare. Furthermore, I used to get a ton of headaches and would often feel quite sick throughout the summer. It was simply a daily occurrence. This summer the worst problem I had was a headache which was remedied with a shower and a short walk. So health wise, I feel I've grown up considerably over the past months but that I'm perhaps being a bit too cautious at the same time. Truthfully, I feel I'm turning into a hypochondriac.

My apologies for the rant. I wasn't expecting to ramble on so much, but your question has been on my mind quite a bit lately.

Do you think that age is just a number? Are you the type of person who could date a woman 20 years older than you or when you're older, date someone much younger than you?

Rants are good, post as much as you want. It's a welcome change from the spammy answers I was mostly getting lately. As for myself, I still look and feel the same as I did when I was 16, and sometimes I forget how old I am (usually in dreams I'm still in high school or younger). What's weirder is I'll see someone and I'll think that they're older than me, but then I find out that they're my age or younger. Even you, for example, when I look at your picture I think you're much older than me, even though I'm a year older than you. Does that make any sense?

Hmmm... better consult an expert.

It's funny, because I've met people of all kinds of mental maturity at all kinds of ages. There are still 3 rules I go by when it comes to women: they have to be legal, they have to be cute, and they have to be smart. For whatever reason, most of the girls I meet and get involved in have been in the 18-20 range, even back when I was 16. I'm not sure I'd want to date someone 20 years older than me (even if they were a looker) only because I feel that at that point in their life their priorities change, mostly due to that being when fertility starts coming to a close.

I often forget how old I am too. I wonder if it becomes normal as your age matters less as you grow up. I'm always surprised to see people older now. It's still hard to imagine that my cousins are teenagers now yet I can still clearly remember when they were born :\

Why do you even care, you were too young to properly enjoy the 90's. Orgy was never big. Anyway my favorite bands back then included the Apples in Stereo and They Might Be Giants, both of which are still favorites.

Ah, it's especially strange when you remember being 4 and your dad's friend having a daughter and you see her today and realize she's grown up and very cool.
