I'm pretty sure it's not about how fast you do them. In fact, you're probably putting strain on your lower back if you're trying to go too fast. I usually just do them til I'm bored of them. For whatever reason I can keep doing them forever, but I'm pretty sure there's no point in doing a million. I think the most I ever did at once was like 150 in gym class one time.

^Lawlz. Last year when we had to do the thing for our school records or whatever it is, I did 36, just so I could beat my friend and the person who beat him. Depends what you do with your time. I certainly don't miss having to spend 8 hours sitting in chairs listening to some old fat guy talk about numbers, but I do miss screwing around with friends instead of doing whatever I'm supposed to. The cool part is that you can technically do whatever you want. The problem is now you have to have some means of income if you want to have anything. I guess it was easier in school since I could do what I wanted to anyway, just that teachers and my parents would give me shit. Out of school, I'm capable enough to deal with whatever comes my way and still have time to mess around and call the shots so I guess it's better.

I've always been athletic, I kind of hate sitting in chairs and doing nothing cuz I get fidgety and uncomfortable. As for the name, you'll have to scroll down to find it.

Ugh, your brother sounds like mine. My brother can't ever handle his drink and is stupid enough not to eat something before he gets completely wasted and comes home, pukes and says, "Mooooommmy! I'm puking! Help me!" And she just tells him he did it to himself and she's not cleaning him up. My brother also has no job, hasn't finished high school and isn't motivated to do anything. Also has a girlfriend who for some reason buys him everything and even bought him 400 dollars worth of clothes from her student loan money. It's cuz in the 90's, Rock was getting the indie treatment it greatly needed. Lyrics became meaningful, and artists were more experimental. People like Alanis Morissette, the Smashing Pumpkins, Nirvana, and many others were the mainstream, when before (and today) they would only make it as underground. After a while, though, the Industry took over. Industry milks everything until it's so saturated that you can't possibly enjoy it. This is why every song of a genre on the radio today sounds like the same goddamn song; the Industry insists that if you give the customer replicas of something popular, the replicas will be popular too. Of course, people demand to be surprised. We need freshness. The only way for it to change is for either the Industry to die (lack of profits and customers) or for something fresher to come out.

I'm not a psychologist or a psychology student, so I don't really know of anything that would be classified as a major model of psychological abnormality. Instead what I'll do is mention how you should regularly assess three things in your life: What do you want? What do you fear? What do you believe? Ask yourself those 3 questions all the time. I suppose I could make a Legend of Zelda/Wizard of Oz comparison here, but whatever. Just bear in mind that getting what you want won't always make you happy, that what you think you are afraid of isn't always bad or dangerous, and what you believe may not be the only answer, if it's an answer at all.

By Industry I assume you mean whoever Dan Brown says is ruling us from behind the scenes this week?

By Industry I mean anyone who plans out the marketing, usually knowing very little about the customers and the product. Industry people are mistaken in that they believe the purpose of a business is to make profits, when in truth the purpose of a business is to make customers. Times are changing, though, so Industry in many forms (including music, TV, news, movies, games) are beginning to fall apart as creators begin to realize they can make their art without the help of the Industry, mostly due to the internet.

If I knew a way, I'd probably be a better student. Some teachers are just too slow or repetitive, others are disorganized and fast, and it's their fault for not communicating well. I guess the best you can do is mentally reminding yourself from time to time that you should probably be listening.

I don't think you understand a single thing I said about Industry. It's like you're confusing the Economy with the Industry. Anyway, Obama isn't a businessman, he's a scholar, which suits him well for the job. The only issue is he doesn't have a complete understanding of how economies work, but very very very few people actually do. His best quality is his ability to listen and learn so he at least knows that he doesn't
