Yea, I remember the daily block the most fondly. Ronin Warriors, DBZ, Tenchi Muyo. Back then we didn't know it was anime, it was just "Action Cartooons". I think I was like in the 3rd grade, maybe even younger.

I am horribly afraid Cartoon Network may reach bankruptcy. Not now but in the near future. Unless kids literally watch ZOMG GHOST! Oh it not a ghost 24/7. And then that survivor show is just kids whining saying "Urgh I wanna go home." for a half an hour.

... OH YEAH! Toonami was on during the night, too! Oh God, I completely forgot about that. Wasn't it on in the morning too or something? But yeah, I remember my old schedule in kindergarten and 1st grade. Wake up Go to school Get home Watch Toonami from 4 to 6 Do homework Go to bed Yeah, I remember watching Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z religiously. Those were the days. And do you know they ACTUALLY killed the first Tom? Yeah, I don't remember watching it. But the Tom we knew and loved got shut down or something trying to protect Toonami's rights. Then Tom 2 came in or somethin'. *Sigh* TV just isn't good anymore =/ I only watch TMNT (lulz okay version) on Saturday morning. Everything else is stupid. Oh! And wanna know what's funny? The shows I watched when I was a kid are on Boomerang. BOOMERANG. I suddenly feel old. |

Yes, Tom1 was my favorite. It was during that special where the Absolution (the spaceship) was invaded by a giant blob. First the clyde robot when down, then Tom went out like a champ... almost Terminator like. Just needed a thumbs up at the end..
But his memory was backed up into Tom2. So basically Tom1 didn't die, he just got a make over. |

No.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qYaolowdlE0 When Tom 1 dies, Tom 2 steps out and asked whats-her-face what happened, and I think she says something about him being backed up in that body. So its basically still him. Yea, here it is. He says "Whoa, what happened?" then she says "You were destroyed" and he says "I was destoryed?" Heres the two episodes where he dies and becomes Tom 2. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d2iAJLqBQWc...feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SrzneOkaICA...feature=related |

A part of me died when the blob thing just flat out killed him...
But it's funny. I'm actually more familiar with Tom 2's design now that I think about it. |

Yea, in all honesty, although I love Tom 1 the most, and Tom 1 has some of my best shows (Ronin Warriors) Tom 2 was around longer and lays claim to some of the best parts of Toonami, including that Broken Promise video. Still love Tom1 the most. One more video before I let him sleep another year.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MNFX9kCkfw0 Toonami was waffleing deep for a kids block. Tom probably taught me more than my own dad. |

Cartoon Network sucks.
I literally have to watch Spongebob constantly to keep myself entertained at night. |
