"Ferocious, infected people that move erratically. They are diseased, as opposed to undead. These are not the lumbering walking dead of Romero’s zombie movies, but instead the super jacked up 28 Days Later / Dawn of the Dead (2004) zombies. They are scary and gnarly and gross."

I won't bother.

Get with the times. 28 days later Zombies is how we roll now.

Plus its a comedy. Zombie Comedy, and thought I'd only see that if they did a shitty parody called "Zombie Movie" from the cousin of the brother of the assistant of the producer of Scary Movie 3.

No. Fast zombies are lame because they create entirely different situations and don't really create the atmosphere of "zombie movie." I suppose it being comedy driven is a bit better, but with Shaun of the Dead around I could always just wait until it shows up on TV.

Thats true. I was gonna compare it to Shaun of the Dead, but thats more old school, which I guess you like. Dumb Zombies that slowly walk towards you. I prefer fast Zombies. This is like Shaun of the Dead for new school.

I love 28 days later, Dawn of the Dead remake, Left 4 Dead, KFC even the Resident Evil movies. More thrilling. Not to say I dont love watching Night of The Living Dead with people trapped in churches and making dashes toward broken down cars. Those guys would be dinner in half a second in the new movies though.

I think you're missing the point of old school zombies then. The best part about them is the people's reactions to the world crumbling around them and turning on each other while still trying to work off their survival instincts where they don't have to be supermen to survive. Fast zombies are just run run run run kill aaaaaaaaah. Boring. It's fine in a game context though, like Left 4 Dead. Because until there's a proper zombie survival game, you gotta go with what's better gameplaywise.

Supermen? Maybe in Resident Evil, and although the people in Dawn of the Dead weren't walking cookie factories they just sniped zombies from rooftops until the end when they all got raped in the face. /spoiler..?

Believe me I understand Zombie movies, and the new ones have that as well, as well as being exciting.

I really wish I had some of these movies around, but I really remember a few times going "Oh c'mon" at some of the antics done by the survivors in some of the fast zombie movies. I just don't think current zombies have the same feeling to 'em.

Fast moving Zombies that don't let up would scare the s**** out of me I were one of those unfortunate people. But the ones that are really quiet, sneak up behind you, and then when you turn around they end up right in ur friggin' face scare me even more. Especially when the games gives you the main characters point of view as your screen. In most of my zombie games that is how it was.

Well, I ended up going to it when some friends I can't get together with much wanted to see a movie and there it was in the time slot.

Now if you told me Bill Murray was in it, I would've been sold first thing. What's wrong with you, Tolby.

Looks pretty BA. Though since it's R, I'll prolly be seeing it when it comes out in Blockbuster or somethin'. I'm not one for zombie movies, but when little six year old pageant girls rampage and nom the brains of some lady in an SUV, I'm automatically enthralled.

Also, that kid bares a slight resemblance to Michael Cera, which also intrigues me. :B
And ABIGAILBRESLINFTW.

Bill Murray was Mary Sue for me, the rest was mediocre humor that you find nowadays.

Although, Hang Over and I Love You, Man cracked the taco bell out of me.

I'm not bothered about zombie films until they make a proper one, where they are the lurching undead that moan and lumber around under the thrall of some evil vampire eating villagers and pouring out of the woods while a bunch of guys with whips and torches fight them off, or battle them in an abandoned office block, or pour napalm at them in deep sewers, or something. You know what I mean. Fast zombies is old already.
