They asked because they knew they met the requirements. I encourage people to ask why they don't have a medal if they know they should have one. (I.e. if you have 500+ posts in the ask me questions topic and don't have a medal for it yet)

Thank you for the medal, Jason. I posted my comment at The Bar a few minutes ago, noticed it, and just kinda blinked. I didn't expect to get it, like, 6 minutes after I freaked out about it....Don't get me wrong, I am happy. :]
