And don't forget, he wiggles about unhappily as well!

Wiggles like Maya or wiggles in some other fashion? Because doing the Maya Wiggle wouldn't make any sense; that's a happy wiggle. But when I think of Harvest Moon characters wiggling, that's instantly what comes to mind.
Is "wiggle" beginning to sound strange?

I can hit my children with an axe? Oh goody, Child Services isn't in Castanet to stop me. x_o I'm not going to do that! I'm too Power-Berry Hungry. >D

I'm just about to start my new game again. Instead of sending corn I decided that finishing all of the circus events first was more important to me, especially if I'm going to woo the witch. So I'm sending over a green pepper so I can make the veggie pizza in the first summer. If I do it right, I should be able to finish the circus events by the second month.

^ Why not just send a veggie Pizza so you can save your dwindleing funds, rather than just sending the Pepper.

I'm given to understand that time isn't much of a constraint. If that's so, if you send cornmeal, you can unlock the witch as soon as you get yourself a stick of perfect butter, much earlier than you could without it. That's what I plan to do. Although it'll be tough not to give in to marrying her the first time around.
Though it probably will be tedious to go out and visit her on foot every day... hm.

That whole "sending the pizza" thing makes more sense, hmm....

And I was thinking that in terms of wooing the rivals, getting to the witch everyday, etc., it would be so much easier to instantly transport than walk it. And I would have to wait until the end of fall without the pizza...

Although saying that, unless a tree is in your way getting though the paths of the forest it barely takes anytime at all (And even with a tree in the way there are diffrent ways of getting around it), plus you can go anytime, so say after 8pm when all the shops shut you can just wander arround the forest taking aslong as you want... and you have the added bonus of being able to Pick up a Tam Tam mushroom, which is a free loved gift... Along with her added events to raise affection she is probably one of the easier brides to woo. It takes probably two seasons to Woo a spouce, if you do everything right. Until you have kids, Married life is quite boring, they make you lunch and help with chours, but other than that all it has done is just stopped all date and romantic festivals with other spouces. Probably make sure you can afford a Level 3 house and have seen all the Dates/Gift Givingsyou want before getting married to lower the mundanity.

I'm considering the risky business of wooing all the gals to see their heart events. I know when one confesses you lose a heart on the others, so it would have to be timed carefully. Has anyone else done this?

I found a glitch/cheat!

If you fish, 10 minutes go by regardless of how long you had your pole cast. I was testing it just now. I cast my line, then pulled it in immediately, and as soon as the point of view cut back to where I had control of my character, the clock jumped forward 10 minutes. I had an hour and 20 minutes to wait for a shop to open, so I just cast repeatedly until it hit 8. It took only about 30 real time seconds. How weird is that, huh?

^ Is that a glitch? I thought that was just to show the progression of time.

I think it's meant to show the progression of time if you had your line cast out the entire time, either catching a fish or until your character brings it for you and thinks to him/herself that there weren't any bites. But if you cast it out then pull it back in, which takes only a few second, 10 minutes still go by in the game. Maybe not a glitch so much as an unforeseen advantage. I literally stood on the dock and sped time along but flinging my fishing pole around.

*ZBoy* Welcome to the party!

Welcome to the thread and the forums, ZBoy. :D Look around and see what else the forum has to offer.

^ YAY!!! NEWBIE!!!! Can I drink your Blood?

I am sure the game hates the player. Every time you need to do something or get an urge to do something the shop you need to access is always closed. It seems If I grow a crop I don't usually plant, it is always harvestable on a wednesday, so If I don't plan ahead I am cropless for a day. Although the good trhing about this game is that seeds have instructions telling you how long it takes to grow.

It is the same with Mining, I always get an urge to go mining on wednesdays, and since you always seem to waste the hole day in the mine you have to wait while friday to have the harvested materials processed since it is closed on thursdays.

I just spend all day Thursday mining too, then I have twice as much stuff to bring them Friday. And I think you just have bad luck and timing. Haha, bad luck and timing person.

If I could stack in the mines in ToT I'd be down there for days. Get big stacks of everything I can and refine them all at once!
I so can't wait for this! :D

I only mine when I have to, but I have a feeling I'll be doing it more in AP.....

This was probably noticed already, but I just thought I'd point it out... Natsume finally put Animal Parade in the coming soon section of their site. (and Sunshine Islands and some other things..) And there's a trailer too (and some more english screens) :P
... are their english default names really Kasey and Molly??? >_> (Yuuki and Hikari)

Oh, and I don't know if anyone besides me cares about this but me, but... look, in-game footage of Takeru!:

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)
The only other one I could find was a close up of his face stamina thing that's in the corner of the screen :P
I'll definitely have to play as him if I make a boy file due to lack of love for poor Takeru

Takeru's hair bugged me in ToT, but it looks better in AP, I think. I'll probably end up playing as him at some point, just because of the sheer number of girls I want to marry~. Witch is definitely being courted by Yuuki, though. :D

As far as we know, those are their names, and I have no real reason to doubt the source. >> Though, if those names are incorrect, I'm going to have to get used to a whole different set of names and aieee. x_x I finally got used to Kasey being Kasey; if they change his name to Bob Fransisco Jones or whatever, I'm never going to get it right.

I hope they don't change Molly. I like the name Molly, and Hikari looks kind of like a Molly . . .
