Thank you all for the feedback. I am sorry about the lack of country, but for these test runs I've just been running one general genre (minus the requests) for testing purposes. Had I tried swapping genres AND getting the mic to work, we would have had less air time. I do like my fair share of country though, so that plus your requests will be ideal. That's why we have these test runs though. Gotta work the kinks out somewhere, right? |

Test Run #3 Ranch Story Radio
Good evening everyone. I just wanted to inform you that I have booked a two hour frame on Saturday, September 5th, 2009 from 11PM to 1AM EST. I will take in your requests again if you'd like, and whatever needs filled in after that will be of whatever I happen to have floating around on my computer. I'm still trying to reestablish my own collection, so I do apologise for any repeats of artists that you hear (for example, I have nine 311 albums. I played them on Tuesday, but if you hear them again Saturday, I am sorry). I believe this will be the last test run before I consider the radio an official thing. I need to know what you guys want to do for the radio on days I won't be DJ'ing. Did you want to have specific days dedicated to specific genres? If this is the case, then the days I can run the radio will play that genre only. Also, I'd like to dedicate one of those days to game music (again, this is a game forum) but it'll be more varied this time, not just FFX OST. I also want to draw stuff from Overclocked Remix (ocremix.org) because they have awesome variations of many songs. Go look there too if you want to hear something specific on those days. Anyways, if that's how you want to do it, post up the genres you want to hear, and I'll dedicate them to specific days. If someone has a better delivery method, I'm open to suggestions, so please feel free to respond to this/PM me. Thank you again for everyone who's been participating in these test runs. Specific genre days sound good. Just letting it go nuts would be bad because, what if you tune in and listen to stuff you like, then suddenly BAM it's something you hate. Can't have that. |
