Gil is officially confirmed as 18 years old, and Roomi is 2 years younger than him, so yes, she is 16.

I noticed a trend that most characters that don't like alcohol (Gil, Roomi, Kotomi, etc etc) are probably or already proven to be under 20 years old. While HM doesn't really take place in Japan they seem to follow Japanese age laws. So all the drinkers are probably/should be 20+

He's in the bar every night (excluding holidays) from 9PM 'til 1AM.

Jeepers creepers. D: Well, sixteen-year-olds can work, too, especially given that the only school in town is an elementary school. Perhaps she arrives on the island later because she was in school?
And still, the thing about marrying Roomi that most worries me is that when my character sleeps next to her, her hair will start drilling holes in his skin, infusing the flowers into his DNA until they start sprouting out of his head, too.

Doesn't the bar close well before 1AM?

Well In Tot is was at 12, I wouldn't imagine that making it 1 would be much difference. Perhaps it "closes" at 12 but the characters still walk around until 1?

^That could be the case. Plus, in ToT, Kathy could still go into the Blacksmith's on the day it was closed.

Don't you just love how the villagers are free to visit closed shops and stay after closing, while you get kicked out into the cold? Nobody likes the main character. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalacry.gif)

At least in this one, if you get in one minute before closing, you can loiter as much as you want.

Nope, the bar is open past midnight in AP.

And yeah, Roomi was away at school before she comes back, studying business/retail I think. I'm pretty sure Kotomi or Seraf briefly mentions something about that.

There are 28 days in a month, like in ToT.
Makes everything even, but so many of the shops are closed on Sundays, which is the first of the season, which is when a lot of the shop inventories change.

Of the age of people, Renee don't have 20 years old. In the Tom Ghost event, Hannah says of Anna (loled), the grand mother of Hanna/Renee, which died 20 years ago, and she says, Renee don't born yet when Anna died.

All these people are really young... Maybe Ramsey is only 32 but aged really badly (>_<). Allthough knowing Roomi is quiet young makes me want to marry her more... I'M NOT CREEPY! I'M 16 TOO!!!

Its actually okay in EAM on the first of the month I think because All the farm and Mine shops are all open, so It means you can still buy seeds and animals, and get any building upgrades, Ore Refining ect. Plus both the bar and inn are open so the only shops you cant access at the start of the month are the tailors, clinic, photograph shop, town hall and fishing company. And all those things are things that dont change inventory or they wont (Positvly) effect your budget, so its quiet effecient.

Also I'm pretty sure in this game, no one who isn't family or living there can enter the closed shop, but you don't see them entering shops anymore unless they live closeby themselves.

This is something that bugs me. People tend to not have their own houses, and live in shops, so that means that in most shops their are kitchens and living accomidations apart from bedrooms, exept the clinic. And even though there is no kitchen, all the stock can be made in a kitchen... Where do they get thier stock first?
