Mm, I think Hikari's cute~. From the artwork, I mostly didn't really like her because her hair looked weird, but it looks a lot nicer in the screenshots (though a lot of the artwork leads one to believe she's a redhead, which she isn't. How disappointing.).
Akari's hair bugs me. Hair isn't supposed to flare both outward and inward at the same time. x_o

I think the Harvest Goddess is just too big to sleep in your bed. Her feet would stick out of the bottom...
Wait, does the Harvest Goddess have feet? Or does she just float around on the jellyfish-like bottom of her dress?
For that matter, how exactly do the two of you have children if she can't fit in your bed and may or may not have legs? Maybe the Harvest Goddess just makes herself pregnant 'cause she's magic, though biologically, you wouldn't be able to have boys...
Then again, you could have a kid with a mermaid in DS. People in Harvest Moon reproduce by talking about children. That's my theory.

Though, a little God kid with bright teal hair and red eyes that runs around playing smite-tag with all the other children would be awesome. Even though God doesn't like interaction and doesn't even know what kissing is... >>

Wizard and Witch, though, would just be funny. I get the feeling she'd be yelling at him all the time and his only response would be "................". And their kid would just end up crazy.

I'm wondering though about this game, cause I hear it's a lot bigger, and if you start out just walking around... well that sounds a little daunting. It took me all day just to walk around in ToT, and if this island is ever BIGGER(which don't get me wrong I think is sweeeet) it sounds like getting around could be a possible problem.

Originally it took me several days to realize there was even an area beyond the Souffle Farm with the Ganache Mine and everything. That's how bad I am at directions. And maps. 8D

But I think it would take a couple in-game days just to get all around the island to meet everyone. Though if they set it up in the beginning kind of like ToT, with the "You don't have a farm yet, go out and be friends with everyone" thing while the clock is stopped, that'd work well. :]

Oh! That's a good point. I just meant for like normal days, it's looking like until I get a horse/ostrich/goat?! I'll have to make calculated decisions about where I'm going each day (which is difficult to do cause I'm spazzy and I love talking to everybody) :]

Its actually quiet easy to go around and talk to everyone... I'm staring a new game (I made too many mistakes on my old one >_< and I also want to see all the rival children so I'm marring the witch due to her cuteness and hoping she turns Gil into a toad, then I'll play a girl in new game plus) And It suprised me how easy it actually was in the start. I met everyone in the first day, because even though the districs are more spaced out, the places in the districs are really close together, plus with the time stop in buildings it means its really easy, much easier than in ToT.

AND NOBODY TOLD ME YOU HAD TO KEEP RUBBING PEOPLE WITH THE REMOTE! I only rubbed people once per day till the got one set of musical notes popping out of their head, but you have to keep rubbing them till you hear a jazzy little twinkely sound... So that is why I didn't have friends >_<.

I have seen pictures of the kids attending festivals with you and your spouse.

I was just wondering if there is decorations, like in Magical Melody. The only new thing I have seen is the pictures you can hang up. BTW, Is there a limit to furniture?

I havent played MM, due to stupid EU release, but you can only hang your own pics inside the frame or posters, that's all
and beside of frame and posters, you can decorate your room with basic furnitures, trophies, stoves/heater and one doll from Sue's event

I dunno about furniture limit though, is there any limits in ToT?
I've put quite many things (bookshelf, all trophies I've got, TV, phone, sofas, heater, etc) on my 2nd floor though

But personally I dont really like how they arranged the empty spaces to put your furnitures or hang the pics, they're just oddly put and make things looks messy and not in order, and then block your windows
and also the fact that you cant change your own bed's design like ToT

Although house design in general (like where kitchen is, and child's room) is better than ToT, of course

Ahaha, she has feet in her official artwork, but I cant remember if I ever see it in game itself
and like the ds/fomt goddess, she just come to my house in early morning, bringing a baby girl who she claims as our daughter

Maybe they just made her in the pond (or up in mountain, for God's case), if the bed wont fit for them

Based on my own understanding, her lines goes like this:

Dear, how do you want her to grow up?

Fufu, that's right. Just like the light on the water surface, I want her to grow up as a shining and bright child

She then gives you the baby bed and say that she can only stay until here, and wish her cute daughter a good night before she leaves

Since all children are basically same except their hair/eye color, that form must be coming from the main character :P

I have trouble with how my chick is facing and looking at the map. I generally go the wrong way at least ten times before heading the right direction. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)

But if the island is bigger, I don't mind. I'll like it actually. I like big mapped games for the sole purpose of running around when I have nothing to do.

Well, I'm not marrying the Goddess or God anyway; I like having a spouse that lives with you. I'm going to have two male files, and I don't know who I'm marrying in the second one (First one's Vivi, because I love her to pieces).
Though, if your kid with Sephia has teal eyes and teal hair... does it look just like Heath? o_o And can you dress it up in safari clothes and make them match? Ooo, weird.

I'm still afraid that the slowed time flow will bore me. x_o

Still of course the main character gen must still stay there to dominate the child form, or else,
You could get B eyed child if you marry Gill, or :3 mouthed girl if you marry Luna and :< girl for Candace

Although there's never any benefit to marry the celestial being to begin with in any HM game (and neither normal spouse would care about children actually, but at least they can work for you), cant celebrate festival with them, and I wonder if you can still experience the child event like missing kid

Unless in the fan imagination, of course
Making their character as the only one who can teach what love is and melt these celestial being heart not just by giving them offering, or having a child with a special power since his daddy or mommy is God/Goddess

I'm trying to decide if I'll marry Chase or Wizard first in the English version when it comes out. Chase is my favorite bachelor, but I want all of the rival children too....

That's my dilemma too. I love Chase, but I'm also interested in the Wizard and I want all rival children..but I think I like Chase better...I'll probably marry Chase first then make a second file where I marry the wizard or the god so I get all the rival children :3

I think Luna is a lot better now that she is a normal height, and her kids won't be her height when they get older. But I'm definitely going to see all the rival children, even if that means...marrying Maya...*twitches nervously*

I'm going with the Witch. Something about the Wiz... just bugs me......... maybe it's his... constant...... abuse of ellipses.
But I love the Witch, and that way, I can have all of the rival kids. I don't mind playing as a boy, either.

Though, I'm definitely going to marry Chase at some point. They made his hair not look like shredded salmon this time!
Maybe I should go for Witch in my New Game+; if I start with the cornmeal, I can get to her more quickly.

I prefer the old Luna. She was cuter. And short girls rule.

Witch wants an older daughter, too. But if she has the older daughter, she'll want the younger son, and I can't have that. Ew, bleh. I hate his hair. It would not look good if it were white, or any other color, for that matter. xP
