Anyone send their game to Natsume to fix the Calvin bug? Options

I remember seeing on the front page of this site that one of the admins had been informed by Natsume that if any person with the Calvin glitch in their game contacted them and sent in their copy, they would replace it for free (with a fixed game). They did recommend to call them first though. I haven't gotten around to that yet.

Has anyone actually sent their game to Natsume? Just curious to see if people have or not. Nothing on google or searching the forums had any information, so I decided I'd ask around.

Nah. I'm not interested in Calvin (though I do think it's terrible what happened), so I wouldn't gain anything by doing it. :P

I sent mine in. I couldn't find whether they were still doing it or not, so I sent them a mail to ask. They replied within the day, saying yes, they were, and to include the reason why I sent it in along with my return address. I got it back in about a week - pretty impressive since I'm all the way on the other side of the country.

It seems like they may fixed a couple of other things too, though. It says (correctly) that you can only harvest rice once. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalasmile.gif)

Also, did you date/marry Calvin and what kinds of stuff does he say? :p I'm one of the people who actually like him (mostly because he looks over 18 and is basically Indiana Jones), but I happen to have Owen at 10 hearts already, and Owen is so nice I'd feel kind of like a jerk! :v

Not yet. But I am working on collecting his quotes (along with all the other bachelors) for my topic on quotes and scripts. I hope to have them soon, but getting hearts up without giving gifts is so slow . . . I would give him gifts, but then they go too fast. @-@

I avoid festivals too, for the same reason.

I do watch the gift, request, date, and confession scenes though. I don't write them down, because I'm waiting for when I do actual playthrough to write those down. I plan to play through the game at least once for each bachelor and bachelorette! Which means I should (eventually) have the scripts for every scene!

Oh right, you're compiling that huge list! Props to you and your patience for that. I'm looking forward to the list, because honestly that quote compilation is a huge resource for people who aren't sure who to marry yet. For example, the profile description of Owen matches his dialogue to a certain degree, but what a lot of people don't realize is that his character specific *the ones addressed at the main character) quotes are actually pretty sweet.

I know that around maybe 6 or so hearts he says something like: I can't stop thinking about you, it's making it hard to concentrate at work (not exact quote). Or at like nine he says: I want to see you all the time, I don't really know what to do with myself. :x

As you can see, Owen is probably one of my favorites, mostly because of the things he says. Not cause of how he necessarily looks or whatever.

I sent mine in on a Wednesday or Tuesday, and I checked the mail a week later (mailbox is far, I'm lazy :v ) and it got here in one piece! They even gave me a sticker. But yeah, I'll probably marry Calvin on my newgame+ file!
