Owen in my first file, and if I decide to do the guy file, Kathy. Or maybe Sheila. Or Candace...no, I like her and Juli's kid too much. Probably Kathy. I couldn't handle her and Owen getting together. xDDD

I plan on doing the New Game thing until I've married everybody. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalagrin.gif)

But I plan on starting with Luke and Luna for my first two files. I get Luke's yellow eyes for my kids! I love golden anime eyes~!

Eh, maybe I'm just like way too many other people, but I am dreadfully torn between Gill and Chase. Even their children are equally cute! And they're both frightfully easy.
But I'll probably end up going with Chase, because Dakota creeps me out, but Vivian's like Gill in a skirt, which is just too cute. Eh, I'll probably end up marrying both of them at some point. I want to marry Juli and the Wiz, too.

The next girl I'd marry would be Candace. Then Phoebe, then Luna, then Selena, then Renee, then Kathy, then Maya, then Anissa... ;-; I want to marry them all~.

Kudos to the character designer; picking a marriage candidate has never been this difficult for me. Well... in Another Wonderful Life, it was, but that was because I really didn't like any of them.

Hey, I had another question.

Are there any times when a bachelor/ette will be inaccesible? Like on stormy days when thier store is closed or on certain festival days?

Depends on which bachelor/ette you're talking about. I think Selena stays inside the bar when it rains. Not sure about the others. I've never had a super hard time finding anyone when I wanted them.

Any given bachelor/ette. I was wondering if there would be times where it be truly impossible to get access to somebody . . . anybody.

I dont think Chase ever comes out every holiday/circus day, he seems gonna stay inside his locked house everytime, even though he goes to closed bar as well in the evening
it means he's unaccessible that day, so you cant give present, talk read his festival/circus/winning comment or getting cake unless you've married him

though I've never really dedicated to track him everytime in any fest day, just about 80% of the day
but since I got almost everybody's schedule inside my head now, I'll try to track him all day later

then Anissa when it's rainy wednesday (unless she married Jin), Toby (unless he married to Leena) and Jin (plus Anissa) for rainy sunday

And not 100% sure, but likely also Phoebe, Owen and Luke for rainy thursday
I just cant really bring myself to remember if Luke goes to forest in rainy day too or not

Thanks!
I was hoping they'd let you in closed stores or make everybody come out on festival days - it kinda stinks that some festival dialogue is unavailable. Ah well.

Oh that remind me that most people who resides in the festival area will also not come out in that festival time

Like Anissa and Julius will not come out in the animal or crops festival (I think you can still meet Renee in Harmonica though, but not sure), and the Harmonica Town resident wont come out in the Beach Festival

It's just for one day, but maybe it's not that bad at all that they could make it like Sunshine Island, since you can still enter townspeople house and shopping even though it's a festival day

Yeah, I wish I could still go in places during festivals.

It sounds like you can't even go inside homes during the festivals, is that right? That's just silly - at least ToT I could still go in houses.

But it sounds like ToT in that residents of festival areas stay inside. I know Selena would stay inside (and sulk) when there was a festival in Waffle Square because that's where she spent her days 'off'. She only came out to participate in the Flower Festival.

During festival days your spouce can be inaccessable too. They are there when you wake up, but If they arn't on a walk with you by 8am, then most times they will do what they normally do during festivals. Mai, for example, will go back to the inn, and say if its the circus, she won't be in the house while the circus is here, so she can't go with you. But if you take her on a walk and return after 8am, she'll stay in the house all day.

And I'm amazed at how naive you all are saying you'll marry everyone... Lol it takes forever both in game and realtime to have someone even get to 5 hearts, let alone get married... you'll be a grandparent by the time you marry everyone if all you do is play EAM... nonstop... Forever.

I've heard raising heart levels isn't much harder in this game than it is in ToT. And considering it takes me only two weeks at about two to three hours a day to get every bachelor/ette in ToT up to a full ten hearts without doing any date festivals, I think I could marry everyone eventually. It's really not that hard with some planning. Though, I may decide to take a break for as long as a year before going back to it - I've done that before. Or I may simply play for shorter amounts of time or take more breaks. Determination is key. ^_^

I might be in trouble if it's harder to raise hearts in AP, but I don't think I'd be in that much trouble. =/

Oh wait, I don't want this to read wrong. It takes me two weeks to get every bachelor up to ten hearts, and then another two to get every bachelorette up to ten hearts, so a month all together.

When you're married to someone, can you go into their shop/work place on the day it's closed? Because I remember in ToT, some people would go into it on the day it was closed, but I couldn't! The blacksmith's would be closed, and I was married to Owen, and Kathy could go into the blacksmiths, but I couldn't. And sometimes I'd be walking past the...place that sells seeds (its name has slipped my mind)...and suddenly Mai, Kathy, and Anissa would walk in on the day it was closed! (This was after I'd gotten them married and they were more likely to be over there.)

Well, I know I can't marry everyone. I just want to. ;-;
If Natsume only had the presence of mind (and the work ethic) to release this game in the summer, when the target demographic has exponentially more time to play it, maybe. But nooo, they have to take forever.
Silly me signed up for all AP classes next year. Between school and homework, I'm hardly going to have time to marry one person, much less three.

It may not take more in-game time to raise heart levels (but I hear it does, if you don't... er, rub the characters, which sucks up a bunch of real time), but the time flow is twice what it was in ToT (not to mention time stops in every building now), so it would take a lot longer.

Zen, it's Souffle Farm that sells the seeds.

It's much faster to raise heart point, yes, 1 heart= 5 days, if you give best present+rub

but like what Blah has said, this game has really long time even to play one day
I got all bachelors to 10 hearts (except God, 7, I dont want to accept his confession), before I married Chase, and to reach it, it's only take 3 seasons
I've even married them all and get their children, but I hibernated, sell all of my animals, abandon my crops and just sleep for 1 whole year

and now in my 2nd playthrough, I got most girls at 6, some at 7 and 3 for goddess, and I'm not even in mid-summer 1st year

fast, right?

But to achieve it, I could spend 2 hours just to finish one day, and even though you play slower tempo than me yet still try to woo everybody, 2 weeks for 2-3 hours in ToT could only give likely 4-5 hearts in AP instead
I'm sure that most people will finished with their daily chores around 3-4 pm in game, but it's longer time in real life too just to play that long

And this can get even longer if you plan to start over instead of get all to 10, then split from there in diff save with diff slot

Dont forget, this is only for marriage, you have 1-2 years more gameplay to get both children, yes

And dont forget, accepting any confession will result in one heart loss, even with the married and engaged one, silly
(which make me cant accept God's confession -_-)
Rejecting will result 1 heart loss, but they'll be back again at 7 for the same confession
Although of course, you can avoid it by not talking to them before afternoon

Beside, I cant see that why people bother to play the same game over and over again, just to read a slight differences in after marriage lines, which basically still similar with their ToT line
Play as guy and girl are fine, cause they say diff things after 5 hearts, aslo different date experience, but play as girl 10x or guy 10x.....
simply wasting time, for me...

People can marry different spouse and work together instead to make a great compilation of scripts for every candidates

Of course, this is just my humble opinion
If someone really want to marry all of the candidates, without hibernating, and even more, start new game plus instead split save data, then they're free to do it

......I prefer to spend my time for another game instead

Meh.
Like I said, I tend to drop games for a year (sometimes more) and pick them up again Tedious work doesn't particularly bother me, and like seeing all the different scenes myself even if I can find them on YouTube or read a script. But yes - when I got all those hearts in ToT by rushing the game. No crops, no animals, et cetera. So I suppose if I got impatient trying everyone normally, I'd use a scrap file and focus just on marriage - then feel satisified with myself.

Well, technically, I've got three AP and one Pre-AP, along with Music Theory 2 and three vocal classes ('cause my school is off its nut). Whatever it is, it's a heck of a lot of homework. No time to play anything! D:

Syvle, are those Gill's younger children fifth and sixth from the left in the second row? I hadn't seen them before. They're really cute~.

Its true that raising heart levels takes forever because of both longer days and harder heart raising make it near impossible to tollerate heart raising. It took me 3 1/2 seasons of liked and loved gifts (As loved only can be expensive) and perfect events to get married (But mainly because I kept forgetting to give the blue feather.). But it took me 1 1/2 seasons to get married in ToT, so given that the EAM days are twice as long it takes 1/4 of the time in ToT to get married in EAM. It may have just seemed much worse to me becuase I was waiting to get married but It did feel like it took forever.
