I recall the "Hello Baby" letter just talking about the requirements needed to have a kid (when a man and a woman love each other very much... :P), like the house upgrade. Because when your spouse asks if you want kids, you can always say "no" and no pregnancy will happen.

So I still have to wait for another letter about the pregnancy? How long does it usually take? And Syvle, thank you for that list. It'll come in handy.

It took 17 days for my baby to be born, while most site said that it only takes 14 days, so extra 3 days after the letter
There's no more event about real pregnancy, but you can go and check the calendar and see there, there's a mark when the baby will be born

I Shall cherp in (YAY). My Pregnacy happend on 21'st of winter and I got the "Hello Baby" Letter on the same day... Then Mai gave birth on the 7'th of spring, so exactly 14 days ofter pregnancy. I'm not to sure about Syvle's kid... Maybe its a forgetful baby and forgot it needed to be born... How do you forget that I wonder? I wonder how a woman gets pregnant and half a season later gives birth... Very mature feotus's in harvest moon, eh?

AND MY DAUGHTER IS WALKING (Finally). You know how people say "Oooo the 2 season childhood is much better than ToT's year"? Well it's really not. It just seems better because because of the shortend number, but the days take at least 3 times longer so when your going through the baby stage it is like waiting for your child on ToT to grow up... Torture. Oh well only another season till Yayoi is grown up... And I decided I want another daughter... I'm too cheap to buy both girl and boy clothes... Sorry future child if you're a boy... but I'm cheap so bleeeeeh.

I wonder if it's because there were some events happen; 26 was My birthday, 28 was New Year's Eve and 14 was Flower Festival

but they usually ignore the festivals unless it's an event day, so somehow im still not sure myself

14 days seems short but it was a torture to wait the child to grow up, I played in faster tempo than my usual playstyle until my children is finally grow up, and sent her directly so I can start a new game plus (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)

I married Kotomi and let her choose the gender of the child. She chose a girl. I don't know what I'll name her and I think she'll be born around Winter 24 but it could be later. Also I love when I married my wife. We got married the day before her birthday.

Odd how the Wiz's kids have different colored eyes in their villager profiles, but their 3D models all seem to have two yellow-greenish eyes. :/

It may just be bad picture quality that makes the colours in their eyes seem very similar.

Nope, I have a new HD tv, and their eyes are both green. There's no difference between them at all. And I can easily tell the difference between the wizard's two eyes, so it's not the problem of the tv. Just lazy programmers at Marvelous. I'm not bashing them, really, just stating facts.

Rather than diff eye color in card, it is rather like they forgot to put color inside it since it looks very blank inside, not yellow-ish at all
beside not only Wizard, but some other bachelors children pic card also show a bit strange eye color in the right part of eyes

And even though Heterochromia can be inherited, it doesnt mean that both of your children must lacking some melanin in their eyes as well (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalatounge.gif)

I think it would have been cooler if the girls took after Wizard with multicolor eyes and boys took after the main character with brown eyes.

I wish they looked kinda like they did in ToT with the different looks, but they had the same color hair/eyes as your spouse. xP

I wish the hairstyle were dependent on the personality. Or that I could style my child's hair, go buy scissors from Barbara and just have at it. >D Or some gel, and fix the younger son's hair to look like the older son's. I do not like the younger son's hair.

They could have the younger child inherit the protagonist's eyes and the spouse's hair, and reverse for the older child, or the other way around. That would be a mess. But it would be kinda neat.

I'm just glad that there are so many different possibilities for children. Used to be that your child was just some silly, sometimes-genderless blob in a mouse suit. And it always seemed to be a mouse suit. o_o

I think its quiet nice that the child can be however you want it to be since there all virtually the same... really when you think about it it doesn't matter who you marry so long as you like their hair X Eye combo is okay... you could hate your wife.

Though, I wouldn't marry the Goddess, 'cause I want my wife to live with me... I think I want to marry the Witch; she's super cute, and who doesn't want kids with bright orange eyes? I know I do.
And with the fantasy dress (or maybe the lolita dress...) and the witch hat, the older daughter could look just like mini-witch! D'awwww.
