I have only had rune factory 2 and a dsi for a few days and its awsome!!!!
its also my first ds I never had a normal one or a lite so anyways!
I have been playing this game called rune factory 2 that I have always wanted to try and I know you can have kids on here but can you conytrol how the grow up like harvest moon..for example: I am best friends with douglas so will my kid grow up to be working aat a shop like douglas?

I don't know exactly what happens but after your married and have children, you get to choose boy or girl.... Somehow. Then you'll be introduced to the second part of the game were you PLAY as your kids when their.... In teens pretty much.

No,they don't work. They try to find Kyle and beat dungeons. You can also have girlfriends,instead of a wife.

Soon as you get married. In about a week or so your wife will become pregnant. In a few days your baby will magically appear. Then you can talk to the mayor and build a school for 100,000g and 1,000 lumber. In ten days, visit the newly built school. Then you can play as your child (Boy or girl)

The romance system is glitched in one place and also not that great. You can do all three "weddings" And nothing will happen afterwards. So you can just focus on beating the storyline. In which you rescue your father.
