PETA complained, but an enemy of PETA is a friend of mine.
Do if you know if the "metrosexual" thing is dead now? |

Do you know what quadtrees, octrees, and scene graphs are?
I'm finally feeling some motivation to get back into programming. I have some "errands" to run first, but I think I'll be pretty busy for the weekend for once (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalagrin.gif) |

PETA complains about everything. If they actually focused all their attention of things like endangered animal poaching and brutal work animal treatment instead of trying to convert everyone to vegetarian and cry when a fly dies, then people would probably take them more seriously.
Didn't really spread to this area, so I can't say. Mostly a city thing, like Miami, New York, LA, etc. But I'm pretty sure it was never as big as people thought it was. I've never met a girl who was into them. (IMG:http://media.strategywiki.org/images/e/eb/LOZ_NES_Red_Octorok.png) Right? Anyway I understand it has to do with programming but I don't really know how it all works. I imagine it has to do with organizing data into smaller sections of 4 or 8, and that scene graphs are the area you're working with or something. Even if I look it up I don't think I'll understand it without proper instruction. That aside, I have a lot of other things mapped out. |

Is that supposed to remind me of an Octorock?
EDIT: Earthbound? Metroid? Atari? Akira? How the heck should I know Darth?! |

You're kind of close, at least you're getting the idea.
A quadtree is when you split up a region of space into four squares. Then you break up each of those four squares into another set of four squares and continue on downward. Depending on the setup, you may only break up a square if there are a substantial number of objects within it. An octree works the same way but is in 3D with cubes. A scene graph is basically the list of objects and how they relate to each other. You might have objects that follow others, or rotate about them. The solar system is probably the best example. You have planets revolving around the sun, and moons revolving around the planets. It's just a hierarchy of relations that make up a scene and simplify the creation of it. Scene graphs are often coupled with quadtrees and octrees to optimize collision and rendering performance. Don't know if you really cared to know or not :P Hopefully I at least made it understandable. But yeah, I'm probably going to go program that soon~ |

It is an octorok :/ Didn't you ever play the original Zelda?
I think he is. It's interesting, and I think if I had the time I could see myself learning the basics. But since I have Flash I'd rather learn through that or just get someone else to do any programming I need. |

Do you think it's safe to use Google to look for a picture of David Bowie?

If you're really worried, why don't you turn on the safe search features? That being said, you'll probably be fine regardless.

Messing around on Brawl again... how could they make it feel so disappointing with the extra content? The only stuff that really covers Nintendo history is the stickers, and the trophies just plain feel lazy.

So, now that we're in another tournement again, what character you going to play if Cpt. Falcon goes down in the first fight? (Assuming they change the rounds to be that we get more than one fight. :/)

It's pretty clear to me they didn't put in as much stuff as they wanted to. I imagine they spent most of the time on balancing characters (which they did pretty well for the most part). I mean all the trophies are just the 3D models that appear in the actual games, hence why there are so few for EarthBound, Kid Icarus, Yoshi's Island, WarioWare, and so many for Sonic, Mario, SSE, Donkey Kong, and Zelda. To be honest, I prefer they spend more time on characters, and that next time they manage to include more (I miss Roy).
I probably won't post who I'm playing here but if you wanna train with me I'm totally down for that. |

Ah, probably about 9 PM or so. Got some things to wrap up and my brother is doing the final battle in Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance.
