Well, you talk to them, give them gifts, etc. just like in ToT. Except they're easier to befriend. It also helps that at 3 hearts you get the ability to pick them up, which raises the heart level even more. At level 6 you can take them home. Also, I heard (haven't tested it myself) that if you have your maximum number of pets and you want a different one, you can kick one of your pets out and take in the new one. Who has what pets? My brother makes fun of me because I got all three cats. My character is a crazy cat lady (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) My house isn't level 4 yet, but I want the Shiba. I have to wait until fall, though. Hopefully I'll have my final upgrade by then (it's so expensive... DX) Yeah, you can kick a pet out for a new pet. Like, I have the beagle but the wild animals I have at 10 hearts have the option to become my pet, meaning it'd kick the beagle out for the new pet because I can only have 1 pet, since I have a level 1 house. |

I finally finished the purple bell! I'm so happy it's over. Now I need to obtain the hero rank and go visit the God. That'll be simple since I've got like 400 blue mist flowers saved up so far. Once I ship them, I'll get over 100,000 Gold.

Yeah, Blue Mist Flowers are one of the best things to grow. Growing whole fields of them all season long can make you rich but you need to get Marinba to upgrade a few times before you can buy them there. You could buy them on the phone but items over the phone cost double what you would normally pay. |

Wow that's a bunch of cash. @_@
So, what do you have to do to get Marimba Farm to upgrade to the point where it carries Blue Mist seeds? |

^Ugh, too bad you don't have them before hand then you could get them up to level three in one go. But then that'd defeat the purpose. Oyvay. An endless paradox...

I'm pretty sure you could buy them once you get a phone but as they'd cost 100 instead of 50, it's best to get them in the shop. I'm going to go play. Time to get Kotomi's confession. I'd been trying to avoid it because getting a confession brings the other bachelorettes' hearts down by 1 I believe. |

Eh....ok, I think I'll wait to buy the seeds. Sigh. Oh, well. If I'm being honest, I don't really start getting into planting and farming until I have a good handle on things and have the money to spend on it. I spend my first year or so saving money to buy a farm and a cow, then work off of that and stuff I can find around town, fishing, and mining. It's always much easier to do mining before you're married and have a good sized ranch going. You spend the morning working on all of that, and by the time you get to the mine, it's the afternoon, and it takes until late at night just to get to the good mining area. Sigh....

It's going to be easier to take care of the farm, since your spouse can help you and your 2 children! I think it would be nice if your wife or female character actually looked like they were pregnant, but I guess that would cause problems with the female character performing her farm duties, but women work pregnant all the time, or was that just my mother...
