Generation II Remakes Confirmed, OMGZ Options

This remake basically is the only one that needed to happen. You can't legally play Gold, Silver, or Crystal because the save battery's dead on all the old cartridges thanks to the internal clock unless you take the time to replace the battery yourself. Who has the time for that?

I squealed. I think a good fraction of the fandom have been wanting this remake for years, so I'm glad to see it's finally coming out. I didn't buy Platinum, but this is something I'm buying fersure.

They better not be. I fully expect to see Kanto again, and I want them to make the radio tower in Lavender Town explorable. I did so much when I was a kid trying to get into there... The only thing I'm curious about is if maybe the Sevii Islands would return. Maybe even expanded. I doubt it, but it could be fun.

But yeah. I want to see the Radio Tower. I tried so hard to get into that place. So. Hard. And was it just me, or was Lavender Town so much... less creepier in GSC? Even the music? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) ;;;

Mmm, this game is going to be the nostalgia trip of the year for me. Seeing all of my beloved memories in improved graphics is going to own.

It was. Since nothing horrible was happening (Rockets murdering some Marowak) it was overall a happier place.

I really hope that they improve on the Gym's a little bit. At least give the Gym Leader's stronger Pokemon (not a lvl 9 Pidgeotto, am I supposed to think he traveled to Viridian Forest to get that thing?)

Also I can't wait to train all three starters! Although Cyndaquil will be the one I actually start out with. Then I'll trade the other two over, catch a Mareep, Phanpy, and Pidgy, and then eventually replace Phanpy with a Larvitar. All will be fully evolved, duh.

I'm definitely having a Mareep on my team, and likely not evolve. 'cause Mareeps are awesome and Ampharos is not.
