QUOTE(SteinersGirl @ Mar 11 2007, 01:25 PM) So i might get HMDS for girls. Anyone have sites that teach how to read japanese, AND also have a englis guide to HMDS for girls English guide to heart events, etc. for HMDS for Girl can be found at Ushi no Tane: http://www.fogu.com/hm6/forgirl.php?p=n I haven't yet gotten around to make a page about the game for Ranch Story. But I will sooner or later. If you've played the English version of the game then basic things shouldn't be too difficult. =P Japanese language: http://www.omniglot.com/writing/japanese.htm Good basic info. http://japanese.about.com/mmore.htm Some very basic lessons. http://etext.virginia.edu/wwwjdic/wwwjdic.html A very good dictionary. Actually, I plan on creating a website with an old friend of mine that will include Japanese lessons, but we're still planning it so it'll be a long time until the site is up. (If ever.) =/ |

For the game, study the info on Ushi no Tane about HMDS boy version. That'll help a lot. The hardest part about getting married in the game is that you have to find 60 Harvest Sprites, which can take a while. =/ Depends on if you're a hard worker or not. And if you're gonna marry Steiner (which I assume you will <3) the challenge is to stay up late enough to meet him each day. He comes at 10PM on sunny days, and I'd always meet him over by Vesta's house (since the road that leads in to and out of the valley is there...) He's easy to win over though. He likes stuff you find in the excavation site, and the jewelry you don't give to him can be sold for a nice little profit. ^^ |

evrything confuses me. I'm trying to learn how to read japanese right now, and the charts don't explain how 2 japanese letters mean something with like 7 english letters.
i havent even orderd the game and i already hate it. Why couldnt they just release it into US. *goes into dark corner and sobs* (i've been up sens 10 pm yesterday....) Jamie's back, y'all! And wow -- looks like we're on topic! And some new members... Anyone who wants to join can join, by the way.
Anyway, I was at my dad's house -- I can't get on the computer when I'm there because it's broken... My game of Sprite Station: For Girl came! I have officially met Steiner! XP The game rocks, I'm so happy... |

QUOTE(Kozunai @ Mar 11 2007, 06:58 PM) Fox, do you not have MFOMT in Jap? I know that is my problem, with not seeing any of the mineral town people No I don't have it... (Truth is I don't even have MFOMT >_> *cough*not in actual console*cough*) I would say HMDSFG isn't hard... I mean I don't have english version of game but neither do I have any problems with my japanese game. It was just bit weird at first since I had no idea what everyone was talking about ^^' No I still have no idea what everyone is saying but it doesn't bother me either (IMG:style_emoticons/default/jack_XD.gif) Kinda like I was small and playing games when I still couldn't speak English I couldn't even read sentences like "Thank you Mario for saving me, but our Princess is in other castle" I only figured out that Princess part since it's almost same in Finnish (Prinsessa) But still I was able to enjoy games just as much as now. Understanding really doesn't mean everything. (plus if you're selfdestrucktious(SP???) like me you can have lots of fun with games that are in japanese... For example friend lend me this wonderful Yaoi (guyXguy) game and first I was fighting with my lover and then soon after we had wild ###### O__o' It was... Interesting... Since I still had virgin eyes that time... I should try playing it again~I wonder where I hid it from my siblings) (IMG:http://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n45/foxmanic/Steiner5.png) Steiner loves you all~ LOL I uploaded catgirl picture in my DA if you are interested in that kind of things~ pokie for kitty |

QUOTE But still I was able to enjoy games just as much as now. Understanding really doesn't mean everything. (plus if you're selfdestrucktious(SP???) like me you can have lots of fun with games that are in japanese... Yeah, the Japanese ain't bad at all; I even picked up a couple words. I don't have any intention of fully learning Japanese though... I'm working on learning French. That's what I want to try -- importing a game from France, to help with my studying, and to see how much I can understand... QUOTE For example friend lend me this wonderful Yaoi (guyXguy) game and first I was fighting with my lover and then soon after we had wild ###### O__o' It was... Interesting... Since I still had virgin eyes that time... Nothing too perverted. With the reopening of the site, the admins and me all agreed to be more strict about things like profanity and language... Not to sound like anyone's in trouble or anything! I didn't mean that, I'm just sayin' that we all need to keep it in mind. Not that that changes the facts that most of us are pervs at heart... Heh. Well, that's my little mod-ly speech. QUOTE its still going to be hard for me to play it.. If you can get the language pack on your computer, no worries, nothing'll be hard at all. If you need any help with the language pack stuff, PM me, and I'll tell you all ya need to know. Oh yeah, and before I forget, I'm working on the next chapter of Married With Freaks, for those of you who read it... For those who are new and haven't read it, well, I'll put up the link when I finish the next chapter. But it's a fic I'm writing with Steiner as one of the main characters... |

BTW, Would you read fanfiction based on Mineral Town and pairing farmergirl and Basil? :3 *makes big grin that could mean anything* I started HMDSFG again two days ago and now I'm gonna get all sprites before end of first year! That's my ultimate goal now~ Muahahhaa. This time I want to have Namis child with Steiner~ BTW Jamie, random question but why can't I quote quotes with quotes? It automatically deleted all already quoted parts when I quoted your post... (Did you follow with all that quoting? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/jack_XD.gif) ) |

And if I find any good pictures, I'll let ya know. Again, welcome. :D QUOTE BTW, Would you read fanfiction based on Mineral Town and pairing farmergirl and Basil? :3 *makes big grin that could mean anything* Basil, as in the Basil married to Anna? 'Cause yes, I'd read that! :D QUOTE BTW Jamie, random question but why can't I quote quotes with quotes? It automatically deleted all already quoted parts when I quoted your post... (Did you follow with all that quoting? ) It didn't let you? Well, that's odd... :/ Not quite sure what to tell ya... I've been playing More Friends of Mineral Town lately; still on my mission to marry my beloved Kai. <3 I got him to green heart before he left in year 1, and now I'm in winter year 1... *Sigh* Oh, I miss the boy. |
