Okay since no one else wants to do this.

Some that I can think of right now would be the bell in TOT that brings in ALL the animals including the chickens. I hate in the other ones where you have to pick up all of the chickens to bring them in.
I also would like to have the weather the way it happend in AWL. The way it could change out of no where.
I also like the way in MM where you can buy land and put your house or barn wherever you want instead of having a set layout.

Alright my perfect harvest moon

1. More drama. As in deaths, special events, kids running away etc.
2. Aging. Like in AWL how everyone in the village aged.
3. Every year something new and major happens. I can never make it passed the 2nd year in HM games lately I get so bored and has already done everything.
4. Hire assistence. After hours of playing I get sick of feeding the stupid animals everyday everymorning. ARRGHHH
5. Girls with boobs. Excuse my bluntness but, honestly are the trying to fool everyone into believe girls dont have boobs, no more 10 year old looking girls having babies
6. Replay as kid. I usually always restart the game
7. Festivals you can partipate in. I miss the egg hunt in HM 64 so much.
8. Changable apperence. As in you choose what your character hairstyle and face looks like.
9. More event scenes. I love event scenes I cant get enough of them
10. More scarcastic guys, I love them

I soo agree with the hiring an assistant! I get so sick of taking like 6 hours in the morning to feed animals and water all my crops. It takes forever. But if I can hire those cute little sprites like in FoMT it's soo much easier and I have time to screw around and finish other things.
Making your own appearance sounds like a really good idea. I'm also sick of having the same look for every game. And also after 5 years of the game and my character doesn't change at all.

Geez, okay. Well, my two absolute favorites from Harvest Moon are totally 64 and Magical Melody. So with that in mind, I'll start my list !

1. Taking from above, TO BE ABLE TO HIRE ASSISTANTS. I mean, seriously. It's such a pain to have to water stuff every day when there are no Harvest Sprites or greenhouses where time doesn't pass. So that.
2. Lots lots lots more character interaction and unlockable characters. I only kept playing through Magical Melody so ravenously so I could get Louis in town and woo the guy.
3. Again, stealing from above, something new each year. Like, maybe some new sort of festivals that aren't the exact same as the year before's. Although that is sort of impossible with an endless game.
4. More men. And better men, seriously. I mean, they've gotten much better about this recently (the lineup for EAM is awesomeeee), but I cannot forgive HM DS Cute. What. Come ON. (Also: Louis was the paragon of HM nerdboys (<3), and Harvest Moon needs more of those)
5. Other towns, honestly. I get bored of being in the same place the entire time. And I'm going completely crazy with this one, but wouldn't it be awesome if you could move to different places from 64, AWL, and so on and have a choice to marry people there?
6. Rival marriages. That was the great treat of 64 which drives me insane with most of the other games. I like the idea of an order to the romance ! And they can have a kid and everything, and then the kids can interact. Oh man, I could go on.

I can't think of anything else right now. I agree with most everything Miss Jessica said up there, though.

Other towns would be great, What if they had a HM game that had every single one of their games town in there and you could go back to visit. I think that would be really cool see how the town has been. I miss HM 64. I lost it... I always hid it from my brother so he wouldn't mess everything up, now I have no idea where I hid it.

Let’s see...my wants would be:
Hiring assistance of course
Child able to grow up like in AWL
Child and spouse able to help with farm
Greater social system (for then two comments per friendship level, more cut seceans, etc.)
Able to swim (I just like swimming...maybe even an island you can only get to by swimming?)
No teleporting characters (Another thing I liked about AWL)

There is probably more but this is what I can think of.

going on real dates like asking them to go
have more bachelor/ettes thats what I hated about awl
beng able to call villagers and talk to them on the phone
taller girls
changing outfits I get kinda tired wearing the same clothes

jealousy I hate it when you marry someone and talk to there rival and they are so giddy

I would like a Harvest moon to:

1> Have a choice to have up to 3 children then they age and during this time the other couples children age and become possible mates for your children. Also new towns people move in with their families. When your original character is old enough to be a grandparent they make a will and choose the child they feel would be the best to take over the farm. The children that you don't choose pursue other jobs that either exist or become available that point in the game. Then the child who takes over will come the playable character after the other one passes away
2> More holidays and even funerals
3>Have a pet store and the character gets to have a pet without having to become friends with it first.
4>BE able to have more than 8 livestock and add pigs to the options
5>Have other towns that you can visit maybe even have a town with a college that you send your children to before you decide who to take over the farm and maybe they meet people from there and those people can move to your town or they find out about your farm and buy some of your crops
6>I think you should be able to talk to other characters on the phone
7>Have vacation spots
8> I like the idea of giving someone a job while getting help with your farm
9>More events besides the festivals have dating, first day of school for your child, be able to shop or have lunch with a friend and have it be more realistic, play games with your kids, swimming and have more interaction during the events and festivals
10>More crops, trees, and recipes and be able to actually sit down and eat with your wife and/or children(have that be an option when you either are finished with the recipe you make or when you look at the table.
11>I would also like the weather be more realistic and have longer seasons
12> I think the part-time job thing was a good idea but it should be more realistic with the character actually doing the job and interacting with customers or the people they are working for

Also back to the children I think the aging process should be more spread out and not have them grown in 3 seasons. I have so many ideas its crazy I just love harvest moon games and I think they could be even better if they had more depth and the characters said different things each time you talked to them instead of the same thing and the spouses should adapt in the game and act like they are married to you instead of meeting you somewhere and then saying goodbye like they did when you weren't married you should be going to the festivals together and leaving to go home together or they say I'll meet you at home and walk home with the children or something. sorry I know I have too many ideas

All that stuff is good but also
-Different dialogue cause it gets annoying
- them liking you like on how you react or appearance when you first meet them or act around them over time will make them like you cause liking you over stuff seems shallow ya think?
-More events with others like friends coming over or even helping you and giving you gifts
