I never said I didn't like their names. I just remember that when they DID change their names, like Won to Jin, there was a huge uproar. So I got kinda confused and thought that most people hated all the name changes. Acually, I like the English ones and a lot of times I don't even know who people are talking about if they use the Japanese ones...

actually the only real uproar was Kotomi to Candace.
other than that there were one or two people upset but not that many.

I ADORE what they did with Chase, Luna, Selena, Maya, and Anissa.
not Candace. that was a dumb choice...
but Chihaya was WAY too Japanese, Chase is an awesome name and the absolute best they could have picked.
I cant argue with Luna. its a very pretty name and anything was better than Roomi.
Shiela was a GOD-AWFUL name. thank the lord they changed it to a nice pretty name like Selena.
Maya... its just the american version of Mai. I liked Mai better, but Natsume isnt big on keeping Japanese names.
and Anissa sounds way prettier than Anise.

id bet money that Vivian will stay and Vivi will become Veronica or Vicki((IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalacry.gif) ). or Vega. ((IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalagrin.gif) )
Gale wont stay. Itll become Glenn or something.

idk what theyre gonna do about the God/Goddess. but I seriously doubt those names will stay.

I like Kotomi, and Roomi. Luna's alright I guess. But not Candace. That's just horrible.
I don't really like the name Sheila but I think it's better for her...
And I just prefer Anise, Chihiya and Mai for them.

I pronounce it like chi-high-yah, with the "chi" part like in the word "chicken".


I don't really think that Candace itself is a horrible name, it just doesn't seem to suit her that well. Although I can't really think of a good alternate name for Kotomi off the top of my head...anyone have any suggestions?

but I also thing of Shiela Broflovski. (Kyle's mom in South Park.) and that also kinda kills the name for me. without her I would think of Shiela as a sexy Australian (but would still dislike the name. lol.)

It would be kinda cool if they did name the god and goddess after real gods and goddesses.
and they would probably pick something that resembled them if they did that, so I feel as though it would be something like Ares for the god (god of Mars - red planet - fire...) or like Antheia (Cretan Goddess of Gardens, Marshes, Swamps, Love and Flowers)
Or for the god - Hephaistos which is the God of Fire (I dont like that one as much)

Actually, those are their names in the Japanese version. There's been no word on what their names will be in English (or, indeed, any word at all -.-).

Zeus also slept with a bunch of women, and in the original Hercules story it was Hera, not Hades, who tried to kill the kid. 'Cause he was actually the son of Zeus and some human chick. So yeah... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)

To be honest, either do I. Even her Roman name, Ceres, is kinda iffy to me. ._.

I think she will too cuz of the whole. "Will it protect against dogs?" "It'll protect against cats." comment. I thought it would be funny if they got Danny DeVito to play the Penguin again in the new one.
