Why yes, it is pretty gay. After all, it is a show about the lives of a few gay friends. It aired on Showtime for five seasons having about 83 episodes in the end.

It's a rather enjoyable show I find, though. I wasn't entirely sure how I'd like it at first, but after a few episodes I actually want to watch it again. I think I identify with the character Michael the most D:

The show was noted for its somewhat frank depiction of gay life, as well as its vivid sex scenes. A disclaimer, "Queer as Folk is a celebration of the lives and passions of a group of gay friends. It is not meant to reflect all of gay society" appeared after each episode on Showtime in the U.S. but this disclaimer was not broadcast on Showcase in Canada (instead, the standard Showcase disclaimer "This program contains nudity, sexuality and coarse language — viewer discretion is advised" was broadcast before each airing and after each commercial).

I watched the first second and a half of the beggining of the video before getting freaked out at the soap opera-y extreme facial zoom. I know you say there's no sex, but I don't like shows that have hetero sex in a few episodes. I'm just not that way, I'm sorry. :/

S'okay. I understand. I guess it's for the same reason that Toaster hated us talking about gay things; it just made him more uncomfortable. Likewise, it makes sense that talking about stuff like that would make you feel more secure. And I used to like talking about those things too. I'm just not sure what I am anymore. But I know you'd want me to be myself anyway, right?

I first thought I was attracted to guys when I was about 13, although it's only a few months ago that I started seriously wondering if I was. Although I keep having lucid dreams that suggest I'm straight and just trying to be all that. Maybe it's because I really think Saffy's cool and I want to be more like him? I first started using the "D:" emoticon because of that.
