Other than looks and his personality, which some are sold on before knowing much else, I guess part of his charm is that he's the first MALE diety character. The Goddess has been around for a long while, and only now does a bachelor appear that rivals her in most ways. He's also the most challenging bachelor in the game, and those always have quite a fanbase.
And he's not Kappa. Which is always a huge plus. |

I am most definately going to marry Wizard in my first game. I don't know, I always tend to gravitate towards the quiet guys (Cliff, Kurt, etc.). I like my boys socially inept, apparently.
For girls, I'm probably going to marry Kotomi/Candace. Come to think of it, she's actually pretty much the only girl that I really like. After that, I may try and marry the Harvest God, simply for the challenge. |

I am about to propose to Mai... She Is really cute in EAM!
If I replay as a boy I would Marry Roomi (My first choice who decided to be really tough to befriend) or Selena as she is slightly hyper. I am playing a girl file after My first child is born to Mai, and I am going to marry eaither Juli (He looks kinda lke a girl) or Most Likely the God, as a way to punish Hikari for being programed with more interesting clothes than Yuuki! |

Candace is just shy and thats quiet cute and loveable, plus you want to befriend her because she's sweet and polite and underconfident... the wizard on the other hand is just dull and refuses to mingle with other people and diffrent scenes... you could say the same for the witch but it's a long way to travel though the forset, and she's wearing high heels... probably not the best choice of footwear in the middle of the woods...

I just suddenly had a brainwave. I'm going to marry Calvin in my first file, have a son, and then daughter, then take my daughter to the new island. With her, I'm going marry Jin, have two girls, name the oldest Diva, and the youngest Saya.

^ Erm... games don't carry on like in ToT, you just send your child away to a new Island and never see it again... Like bording school but with farmers.
And a pattern is deffinatly there concerning Luna fans... In ToT everyone must have liked Luna but only a few married her (MY WIFE (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalagrin.gif) ) due to her size. However now that she's grown she's now the favourite bride among the normal girls, proving that people like her cute, semi-evil personality and now like her marrigable size, even overtaking her sisters popularity. However those of us who did marry her in ToT find it too wierd to marry her now, like marrying a girl perminantly on stilts. I bet it won't be long before Candace gets a saw from somewhere and shortens Luna to get back her popularity, and no-one will belive she did it because of her cute and quiet nature... I AM ON TO YOUR GAME, BLUE-HAIRED TEMPTRESS!!! |

The image of Candace trying to saw her sister's legs is a bit disturbing, but somehow still funny.
I'm having the same problem with the thought of marrying Owen again. He's so tiny now. His burlyness was part of his charm, and having that sapped has caused his popularity to take a nosedive. He looks bizarre now, and I know it's going to take a very long time for me to get used to his new appearance. |
