I made some major updates to the first post.
It's kind of interesting to see how the parent's personality affects the dominant traits. I'm not too surprised to see who has the smart genes (and who doesn't (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) ), who are the realists (can't have dreamy kids), and who are the most mellowed out (can't have hot-blooded kids), etc... |

Is the combination of gender for your kids random or can you choose the gender of your first and second child?
Also, can you have a child that looks like your character? |

You can choose your children's genders yourself, or you can have your spouse choose. Theoretically that means you could have two sons or daughters, although I haven't heard word of anyone having such, since most of us want one of each. ^^; As for children looking like the protagonists, most of us seem to want the kids to look like the spouses, too, so I haven't heard word on that either. The opening of EAM gives the impression that you can, but it's more like a myth to me. ._. |

QUOTE You can have a child that resembles you, But to get it, you need to pick the gender of the gender and then there is a chance it will look like eather spouce. Can we save the day before the birth and do a trial of error until we get the child we want? :O |

Aw, that makes me a little sad that Chihaya can't have a hot-blooded child (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalacry.gif)
That would be entertaining (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) |

Lol you random Chiyaya fanpeople, He would kill his Type D child and then you would have to visit Chiyaya in jail... I dont think Chiyaya would do well in jail... He wouldn't be able too cook and if you fan girls all think he is pretty, what would a big, hairy 46 year old axe murder who hasn't seen his wife in 20 years think when they end up sharing a cell... STOP DOOMING POOR CHIYAYA...
I wish Mai could have a type A child >_< "WAH MY SON IS SMARTER THAN MEEEE... OOO Do I smell Chocolate?" |

o_O that's just plain wrong.. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/emot-gonk.gif) On so many levels.... I know most of us are going to try to pick out our kids personalities, but is there an option for the spouse to choose personality traits as well as their genders? I think it'd be interesting to see what the game wants the baby to be like before I make the second one the way I'd like. I'm sure it would make the ingame husband or wife happy, too. |

A,B,B,A) then the wife's influence will take place and the child will be (I.e.) C. |
