Awhile ago, I decided that I would marry the Harvest Goddess and actually accomplish something for once in FoMT. One of her requirements is that I have to ask Carter permission to marry the Goddess in his confession booth.
Now I wonder, do I have to befriend him or anything? Thanks, Phoenix. |

FoMT isn't my area as such but I'd assume you'd need to have given plenty of stuffs to the Goddess. Being friendly with Carter might be helpful to get him to, like, talk to the Goddess for you, but I don't think it would really be a requirement as such. It's something they don't do.
