hm... Emily... people said that before and I actually like that. a lot. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalagrin.gif) even though I know too many Emily's...

and with the whole Royd/Lloyd thing, English L's are pronounced as Japanes R's. so Royd really would be Loyd. and since Lloyd is an english name... I don't think they'd have a need to change that.

Mmm, I still think Juris/Yuris -> Eugene would make the most sense, phonetically anyway. There's also Eustace, but that would just make me think of Courage the Cowardly Dog. lmao.

I don't think they would give him a more accurate name like Jolis because most people wouldn't know how to pronounce it (yo-less, not joe-less). And Iulis would just make people scratch their heads, I think (unless they're familiar with Romanian names or something). But if they gave him a name like John or Jack that would be as random to me as the Sara -> Gwen change.

Juris I have a feeling will be a name like... Eugene. It's the only "yu" name I can think of for guys. Or they can do the same thing they did with Pat-Phoebe (same starting consonant, different phonetics) and name him Jason Dean.

Loyd will remain the same; probably will gain an extra L (or two, depending how many typos they make in translation).

I think Natsume will rename Schmidt to Sanjaya... (but the last time I tried that joke not many people got it *cries*).
